Rev. Bishop Richard Mickley
CDOS, PhD
November 12, 1928 - February 14, 2023

Founding Pastor of MCC in the Philippines and one of the pioneering organizers of the first Pride March in the Philippines and all of Asia, and upon retirement with MCC became Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit (non-Roman), Bishop Richard passed away on the 14th of February, in the year of our Lord 2023.

Further details about his internment, religious services, the honoring of his life, and where to send donations will be announced shortly.

The late Father Richard and his surviving partner, Simon Arias, designated and authorized Open Table MCC as the organizers of all arrangements concerning the internment, religious services, and funeral arrangements for Bishop Richard. We ask for everyone to direct any of your questions or concerns to Open Table MCC through our page or email address: [email protected]

We ask everyone to please avoid bombarding Simon with private messages in social media and other channels. Please avoid sending messages also to the Facebook account of Bishop Richard. Let’s give due respect and ample private space to Simon during this time of painful loss.
