It is a movement of an educative character offered to all youngsters, to make them subjects and protagonists of their own human and Christian growth with a missionary slant, open also to non members, with the will to play an effective part in the local area and to be positively inserted into the local Church. It is loosely coordinated around the Salesian Youth Movement Council (SYMC) made up of Sa

lesian, lay and youth representatives from the different national groups, with the assistance of the SYM-Philippine Secretariat made up of full time, part time and volunteer workers under the guidance of the Youth Pastoral Delegate and the Youth Pastoral Team member in charge of the Area on Group Experience.

SYALA 2023: TOGETHER, WE STEP-UP

The Salesian Youth Movement of the Philippines North Province (SYM-FIN) in coordination with Pastoral Team, Salesian Community, and the whole Educative Pastoral Community of Don Bosco Technical College in Mandaluyong organized the Salesian Youth Animators and Leaders Assembly (SYALA 2023) with the theme, TOGETHER, WE STEP-UP.

The event was participated by the youth animators, leaders, and Salesians of the different Don Bosco settings and youth groups who are facinated with Don Bosco's charism and spirituality.

May the good Lord through the intercession of Don Bosco and all the Salesian Saints continue to bless, protect, and guide our young people especially the poor. Amen
