There are moments when we feel like we’ve reached the end of our rope—when our strength, resources, and ability are no longer enough.

But when our ability ends, God’s activity continues. 🙏

𝟏. 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒, 𝐆𝐎𝐃’𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐒

When you are afraid — Pray.
When you are confused — Pray.
When you are hurting — Pray.
When you don’t know what to do — Pray.
When your resources are gone — Pray.
When you have reached the end of your rope — Hold on to God.

Our limitations are never limitations to God. What we cannot do, God can.

𝟐. 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒, 𝐆𝐎𝐃’𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐒.

How do we practice total obedience?

We need to obey even when we don’t understand.
We need to obey even when we can’t immediately see the result.

We often want God to show us the miracle first, and then we will obey. But God is saying:

“Obey Me first, and then you will see what I can do.”

God’s instructions may not always make sense from our perspective, but obedience isn’t based on whether we understand everything.

Faith obeys God before it sees what God is going to do. ✨

If you believe God can use you in the ministry — prepare.
If you believe God can restore your family — act with expectation.
If you believe God can provide — keep trusting in faith.
If you believe God can answer your deepest prayer — don’t give up.
If you believe God will bless you — keep pleasing Him.
If you believe God has called you to serve Him — be faithful in the little things.
If you believe God will use CGFM as a “lighthouse to Makati and beyond” — continue to do your part.

🫙 The oil didn’t stop because God ran out.
The oil stopped because there were no more jars.

The limitation wasn’t with God.
The limitation was with the available containers.

God’s ability is far greater than our capacity.

So when you reach the end of your rope, don’t stop seeking God. Don’t stop obeying God. Don’t stop believing.

Your ability may have reached its limit, but God’s ability has not. ❤️

What a powerful reminder that following God means choosing truth over popularity, obedience over convenience, and faith over fear. May we continue to carry God’s Word with us and live it out wherever He has placed us.

We are called to stand on God’s Word, speak His truth with love, and trust Him even when we feel alone. 🙏

𝟏. 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐍 𝐆𝐎𝐃’𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇

“We cannot always be faithful to God and popular with people at the same time.”

•Truth is not affected by the number of people who believe it.
•Stand on God’s Word. Stand on biblical truth. Stand on your convictions—even when you're in the minority.

𝟐. 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐊 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄

Elijah didn't just stand quietly—he spoke. He exposed false worship and pointed the people back to God.

•Teach the truth → Live the truth → Show the truth.
•Biblical love is not always silent. There are moments when love must speak.

𝟑. 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄

Elijah obeyed God and trusted Him even when he could not see how everything would turn out.

“Faith is not knowing how God will win; faith is trusting God even when you cannot see how He will win.”

•Gawin natin ang bahagi natin sa pagsunod.
•Iwan natin sa Diyos ang resulta.
•Obey God even when you cannot see the outcome.
💭 THE CHALLENGE

Where have you been choosing…

➡️ Comfort over conviction?
➡️ Popularity over Truth?
➡️ Convenience over obedience?

📖 CHURCH NOTES | STANDING FOR THE TRUTH, EVEN IF IT’S UNPOPULAR

Learning from the Life of Elijah
by: Bro. Dave Rambano

We live in a world that often pressures us to compromise our faith, values, and convictions. But like Elijah, God is calling us to stand for the truth, even when it’s difficult, even when it’s unpopular, and even when we feel that we are standing alone.

1. LET GOD’S TRUTH GIVE US CONFIDENCE TO SHOW UP.

“It is I. Go, tell your lord, ‘Behold, Elijah is here.’”
— 1 Kings 18:8

Prophet Elijah said:

“As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to him today.”
— 1 Kings 18:15

Let’s Rephrase:

“As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to my challenges today.”

Let Elijah’s confidence in God give us confidence to face anything today.

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
— Deuteronomy 31:8

2. LET GOD’S TRUTH GIVE US COURAGE IN EXPOSING WHAT’S TRUE.

Confidence is the belief that you can.
Courage is the decision to act whether you believe you can or not.

Elijah confronted King Ahab, having courage even if he was facing a king.

Lies of the enemy:

❌ You have no chance in life.
❌ Your family will never accept Jesus.
❌ There’s no solution to your problem.

God’s Wake-Up Call:

Stand up and take courage.

Do something about the problems that you can solve.
Surrender to God all the things that you cannot control.

Just as how Elijah confronted a king, he knew who his King truly was.

In the same way, let us face our greatest challenges with courage, knowing that our God is bigger, stronger, and greater than them all.

3. GOD’S TRUTH WILL GIVE US CONQUEST TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE.

“And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, ‘The LORD, he is God; the LORD, he is God.’”
— 1 Kings 18:39

Elijah seems to have already won this challenge because God was with him.

His goal was to prove that God is alive, far above any idols and any other prophet.

Right now, God wants you to win your battles. Check your heart.

Do you want to win in life because you want to prove people wrong?
Do you want to gain success because of your pride?

Conquest is given because Elijah’s purpose is for people to know that Jesus is Lord.

May our victories point people back to God and make His name known.

🔥 STAND FOR THE TRUTH, EVEN IF IT’S UNPOPULAR.

Even when it’s difficult.
Even when it’s unpopular.
Even when we feel that we are standing alone.

Learning. Unlearning. Relearning.

📖 1 Samuel 3

Samuel’s life teaches us that hearing God’s voice is something we continually learn, unlearn, and relearn.

1. LEARN TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD

We learn by experience.
But evaluated experience is the best teacher.

Samuel learned to recognize God’s voice by experiencing His presence and responding to His call.

2. UNLEARN TENDENCIES & HABITS THAT KEEP US FROM HEARING GOD

Sometimes, the problem is not that God is silent—we may simply need to remove the things that make it difficult to listen.

“Consistent practice makes perfect.”
📖 1 Samuel 3:8–9 NLT

“Practicing correction makes perfect.”
📖 1 Samuel 3:1, 10 NLT; 1 Samuel 9:1–2 NIV

3. RELEARN TO DISCERN GOD’S WORD

Hearing God is not just about listening—it is about discerning His Word and continually pursuing His will.

> “If we stop learning, we will stop growing.”

We need to continually sharpen our listening skills so we can recognize God’s voice, understand His Word, and follow His direction.

🎯 In a noisy world, are we making enough room to hear God?

May we have hearts that are willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn—until we become more sensitive to the voice of God.

“Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.”
— 1 Samuel 3:9
