We wonder, mga kapatid, sometimes why we are always under attack. CHECK OUR WALLS!
Proverbs tells us that a person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls and without protection. Kung ang ating walls ay sira, mga kapatid, it tells us that we are no longer in control. Pwedeng maglabas-pasok ang gawa at atake ng kaaway, at madali tayong magagapi or be conquered by the enemy.
In Bible times, as we read and know from some of the stories, a city without walls was conquered by another kingdom. Kung iri-relate natin ito, mga kapatid, sometimes this is us. Madalas nangyayari ang atake ng kaaway. Hindi lang tayo basta vulnerable sa atake, kundi unconsciously, tayo pala ay unti-unti nang sinasakop.
Every time our emotions lead us, our anger leads us, and our impulses, mga kapatid, lead us, hindi lang tayo basta natatalo sa battle, but our walls are also falling down. Ang nakakatakot, if palagi natin itong hahayaan, mga kapatid, hindi na kailangan pang lumaban nang husto ang kaaway. Bagkus, madali na lamang siyang makakapasok at unti-unti tayong sasakupin because he has easy access.

This, mga kapatid, can destroy our peace, our relationships, our integrity, and even our purpose. Letโs be guarded, mga kapatid, sapagkat ang kaaway ay gusto ang mga taong undisciplined o walang self-control.
But hereโs what is powerful, mga kapatid: Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit. We donโt need to manufacture or create this on our own. God creates and develops this inside of us. The closer we walk with God, the stronger our walls become. Some battles that we are facing right now would never have reached us if we had built our walls stronger. Itโs never too late to BUILD OUR WALLS.

Lord Jesus, pinupuri ka namin at sinasamba. Kame ay lumalapit sa trono ng Inyong biyaya ng may pagpapakumbaba. Lord, help us examine the walls of our hearts. Kung may mga areas where we have allowed anger, emotions, temptations, or wrong influences to break down our walls, we ask for Your forgiveness. Strengthen us, O God, and teach us to walk in self-control through the power of Your Spirit.
Protect us from the attacks of the enemy. Guard our minds, our hearts, our relationships, and our purpose. Help us not to be led by our feelings or impulses, but by Your Word and Your Spirit.
Lord, build strong walls around our lives, not walls that keep people out, but walls of Godly character, wisdom, discipline, and obedience. May we draw closer to You each day, knowing that the closer we are to You, the stronger we become.
Help us as young people to stand firm in our faith, to honor You in our choices, and to be a light to those around us. Kami rin po Panginoon ay Inyong proteksiyonan sa nangyayari sa aming paligid. Dalangin namin ang inyong pagbakod sa aming pang araw-araw, sa mga estudyante o kahit sa mga nagtatrabahong kabataan.
May our lives bring glory to Your name. In Jesus Name this is what we pray. AMEN!

As we go through the rest of the week, we may face unexpected challenges and trials. But take heartโGod goes before us and walks with us every step of the way. Though He may not remove every obstacle, He will give us the strength, wisdom, and grace to overcome them.
