Come unto Christ "and offer your whole soul" to Him — Omni 1:26 (The Book of Mormon)

The Makati Philippines Stake warmly invites everyone to attend our 49th Semi-Annual Stake Conference this coming May 30 and 31, 2026 at the Buendia Chapel.

We are grateful to welcome Elder Danilo F. Costales, one of our Area Seventies, as our presiding authority for this conference. See infographic to learn more about him.

May this be a time for us to gather, worship, strengthen our testimonies, and draw closer to the Savior Jesus Christ.

A Stake Conference is a special gathering of local congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints focused on worship, spiritual messages, and strengthening faith in Jesus Christ.
An Area Seventy is a Church leader assigned to guide and support members and local congregations across different regions in an Area.
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and a sacred book of scripture that teaches about His gospel and love for all people.

The Makati Stake Primary “Articles of Faith” Activity was held on May 16, 2026 at the Buendia Chapel.

The activity helped Primary children better understand and memorize the Articles of Faith through fun, faith-promoting, and testimony-building activities. Children participated in five interactive booths, facilitated by thePrimary leaders from each ward, where they learned gospel principles while enjoying games and activities with fellow Primary children.

The activity almost got postponed because of the heavy rain that morning. But through the faithful prayers of the children, parents, and leaders, the weather improved a few hours before the activity, allowing everyone to safely gather and participate together.

The activity was presided over by President July Macababayao, First Counselor in the Makati Philippines Stake Presidency, accompanied by President Mark Longoria, Second Counselor, and organized by the Makati Stake Primary Presidency namely: Dyann Longoria, President; Sherilyn Cheng, 1st Counselor; Joy Valdez, 2nd Counselor; and Concepcion Macababayao, Secretary.

As President Dallin H. Oaks taught, “Children are our most precious gift from God.” Activities like these continue to help strengthen the testimonies of children and bring them closer to Jesus Christ.

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Primary organization helps teach children ages zero to eleven about Jesus Christ, prayer, the scriptures, and gospel principles in a loving and faith-filled environment. Primary helps children build strong testimonies while preparing them to follow Jesus Christ throughout their lives.

The Makati Philippines Stake warmly invites all our members and friends to attend our 49th Semi-Annual Stake Conference on May 30–31, 2026, at the Buendia Chapel.

In a world full of noise and uncertainty, Stake Conference gives us an opportunity to pause, worship, and hear the voice of the Lord through inspired leaders.

A Stake Conference is a special gathering of local congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints within a geographic area called a “stake.” During this conference, members and friends come together to worship, listen to inspiring messages about Jesus Christ and His teachings, strengthen their faith, and receive guidance from local Church leaders.
