After ten beautiful years of sharing their voices and talents, Coro di Don Bosco gathers for a meaningful celebration of its journey through COROSCENDO: Send-Off Anniversary Concert.

This special concert is more than a celebration of an anniversary. It is a tribute to the countless moments that shaped the choir—the rehearsals, performances, celebrations, friendships, challenges, and unforgettable memories that were woven together through music.

For the past 10 years, Coro di Don Bosco has used the gift of music to enrich celebrations, bring people together, and share the spirit of Don Bosco through song. Every melody sung and every harmony created became part of a larger story—a story of dedication, friendship, service, and love for music.

As this anniversary also marks a send-off, COROSCENDO becomes a moment to look back with gratitude and forward with hope. It is a celebration of what has been, an appreciation of everyone who became part of the journey, and a reminder that while chapters may change, the music and memories we create together continue to resonate.

𝟐𝟏 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 [𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬] - 𝟕𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, the 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 gathered with the youth from various Don Bosco settings to celebrate 𝟳𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀.

The whole-day celebration began with the 𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, presided over by our 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝗗𝗕. During the Mass, a simple yet meaningful token of 𝘀𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 was given to the Parish Priests or representatives of each Don Bosco setting—symbolizing the roots of the Salesian mission planted in the Philippines and the light of the Salesian charism that continues to shine and be passed on to new generations.

The celebration continued with the 𝟳𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺, led by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗡𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗼, 𝗦𝗗𝗕, followed by 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗮𝗻. The community then gathered in prayer through 𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, with the Adoration presided over by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗦𝗗𝗕.

The celebration continued with the conference “𝗘𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗹,” and culminated in a joyful Closing Celebration, bringing together the Salesian family in thanksgiving, fellowship, and renewed commitment to the mission.

𝟳𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝟳𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. 𝟳𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲.

May we continue to enkindle and rekindle the fire of Don Bosco’s charism and carry it forward—especially among and for the young.

First Reading
1 Cor 1:1-9

Paul, called to be an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
and Sosthenes our brother,
to the Church of God that is in Corinth,
to you who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be holy,
with all those everywhere who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I give thanks to my God always on your account
for the grace of God bestowed on you in Christ Jesus,
that in him you were enriched in every way,
with all discourse and all knowledge,
as the testimony to Christ was confirmed among you,
so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift
as you wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He will keep you firm to the end,
irreproachable on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is faithful,

Mt 24:42-51

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Stay awake!
For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.
Be sure of this:
if the master of the house
had known the hour of night when the thief was coming,
he would have stayed awake
and not let his house be broken into.
So too, you also must be prepared,
for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.

“Who, then, is the faithful and prudent servant,
whom the master has put in charge of his household
to distribute to them their food at the proper time?
Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing so.
Amen, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property.
But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is long delayed,’
and begins to beat his fellow servants,
and eat and drink with drunkards,
the servant’s master will come on an unexpected day
and at an unknown hour and will punish him severely
and assign him a place with the hypocrites,
where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.”

First Reading
2 Thes 3:6-10, 16-18

We instruct you, brothers and sisters,
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
to shun any brother
who walks in a disorderly way
and not according to the tradition they received from us.
For you know how one must imitate us.
For we did not act in a disorderly way among you,
nor did we eat food received free from anyone.
On the contrary, in toil and drudgery, night and day we worked,
so as not to burden any of you.
Not that we do not have the right.
Rather, we wanted to present ourselves as a model for you,
so that you might imitate us.
In fact, when we were with you, we instructed you that
if anyone was unwilling to work, neither should that one eat.

May the Lord of peace himself
give you peace at all times and in every way.
The Lord be with all of you.

This greeting is in my own hand, Paul’s.
This is the sign in every letter; this is how I write.

Mt 23:27-32

Jesus said,
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.
You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside,
but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of filth.
Even so, on the outside you appear righteous,
but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and evildoing.

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.
You build the tombs of the prophets
and adorn the memorials of the righteous,
and you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors,
we would not have joined them in shedding the prophets’ blood.’
Thus you bear witness against yourselves
that you are the children of those who murdered the prophets;
now fill up what your ancestors measured out!”

We ask you, brothers and sisters,
with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
and our assembling with him,
not to be shaken out of your minds suddenly,
or to be alarmed either by a “spirit,” or by an oral statement,
or by a letter allegedly from us
to the effect that the day of the Lord is at hand.
Let no one deceive you in any way.

To this end he has also called you through our Gospel
to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, stand firm
and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught,
either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father,
who has loved us and given us everlasting encouragement
and good hope through his grace,
