⛪SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE | Majayjay Bible Baptist Church

Continuing our August theme, "SERVING IN THE BODY," we were blessed by the preaching of Pr. Jun through the message:

"The Gift of Helps and Service"
📖 Romans 12:1–8

Today, we were reminded that serving God is not simply about doing tasks... it is an expression of our faith, love, and commitment to the Body of Christ.

Here are some key truths from today's message:

1. Service is a Gift of Grace
God graciously gives us opportunities and abilities to serve according to His purpose.

2. Service Meets Practical Needs
Through simple acts of service, we can meet real and practical needs within the church and community.

3. Helps Strengthens the Whole Body
Every act of service matters. When we help one another, the entire Body of Christ becomes stronger.

4. Service Must Be Done Faithfully
We are called to serve consistently and wholeheartedly, not only when it is convenient.

5. Service Reflects the Heart of Christ
True Christian service reflects the humility, love, and servant-heartedness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May we never underestimate the value of serving behind the scenes. Whether big or small, every faithful act of service can be used by God to bless others and strengthen His Church.

Let us serve not for recognition, but for the glory of God. ☝🏻

"Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another."
-Romans 12:10 (KJV)

To God be all the glory! 🙏

⛪SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE | Majayjay Bible Baptist Church

Another blessed Sunday in the presence of the Lord as we continue our August theme:

“SERVING IN THE BODY”

Today, we were blessed through the preaching of Pr. Jun with the message:

“The Gift of Helps and Service”

We were reminded that serving God is not always about being seen... it is about being willing. Every act of service, whether big or small, has a purpose in the Body of Christ.

God has given each believer a role to fulfill. May we learn to serve with a willing heart, humility, faithfulness, and love. Using what God has entrusted to us for the blessing of others and the glory of His name.

May we continue to serve together, grow together, and glorify God together.

To God be all the glory! 🙏

08/08/2026

One of the greatest lies Satan tells believers is that God can only use people who are strong, gifted, or seemingly flawless. We often compare ourselves with others and become discouraged by our shortcomings. We think, "If only I were more talented, more confident, or hadn't made those mistakes, then God could use me."
But the Bible tells a different story.

Throughout Scripture, God consistently chose imperfect people. Moses struggled with speaking. Gideon doubted. David failed morally. Peter denied Christ. Paul called himself the chief of sinners. Yet God used each of them in remarkable ways—not because they were perfect, but because they trusted Him.

God has never been looking for perfect vessels. He is looking for surrendered ones.
Our weaknesses remind us that we cannot depend on ourselves. They drive us to rely on God's grace and strength. When God works through someone who is clearly inadequate, He receives the glory because everyone can see that the power came from Him, not from the person.

Sometimes the very area that causes us the most pain becomes the place where God ministers most effectively through us. A person who has experienced grief can comfort those who mourn. Someone who has overcome addiction can encourage those still struggling. A believer who has known failure can point others to the forgiveness and restoration found in Christ. What we often wish God would remove, He sometimes chooses to redeem.

That doesn't mean we should excuse sin or stop growing in holiness. God calls us to pursue Christlikeness every day. But while He is shaping us, He is also able to use us. We do not have to wait until we feel "good enough" before serving Him.

The question is not whether you have weaknesses. We all do. The question is whether you will place your life in God's hands and allow Him to use you for His glory.
