In 2024, God did something completely fresh among us. We transitioned from Calvary Baptist Church to become Majayjay Bible Baptist Church. More than a change of name on a sign, it was the birth of a brand-new identity. By placing 'Majayjay' and the 'Bible' at the very center of our name, we declared our mission: to dig unshakeable biblical truths out of the scriptures FIRST FOR THE GROWTH OF THE BELIEVERS and for the people of our town.

We outgrew the old-fashioned, rigid legalism of the past. Because God sustained us through decades of trials, we earned the freedom/ to shed those defensive traditions and embrace an open, grace-centered, and vibrant approach to teaching God's Word.

WE HONOR OUR PAST. BUT WE DON'T LIVE IN IT!

Jesus is still calling disciples.

Not merely church attendees.

Not merely people who believe in Him intellectually.

Not merely people who want His blessings.

He is calling followers.

People who will say:
“Jesus, You are worth everything.”

Jesus was honest about the cost.
Following Christ means surrender.
It means dying to our own will.
It means forgiving when we don't feel like forgiving.
It means obeying when obedience is difficult.
It means standing for truth when everyone else is compromising.
It means loving people who may never love us back.
It means choosing God's will over our own comfort.
And sometimes it means walking through suffering while still trusting God.

Jesus never promised us an easy life—but He promised us a life that is worth living, a mission worth pursuing, and a Kingdom worth giving everything for.”

More than just a celebration, our 25th Anniversary was a moment to pause, remember, and give thanks for God’s faithfulness.

With one heart and one purpose, we gathered to worship the One who has been faithful through every season. From the songs we lifted to the prayers we offered, every moment pointed back to Him.

25 years of worship. 25 years of grace. 25 years of God’s faithfulness.

May our worship never be limited to an anniversary, but may it continue in our lives as we seek God through His Word. 📖🙌🏻

A day filled with worship, thanksgiving, fellowship, and grateful hearts as we celebrated 25 years of God’s faithfulness to Majayjay Bible Baptist Church. 🤍

As we look back on His goodness throughout the years, we are reminded that the foundation remains the same... God’s Word. May we continue to seek Him, stand firm in His truth, and remain committed to passing the faith on to the generation to come.

25 years of grace. 25 years of faithfulness. And by His grace, many more years of serving Him. 🩶
