O beloved Sr. San Vicente Ferrer,
faithful preacher of truth and servant of God,
we come before you with humble hearts.

In times of doubt, guide us to the light of Christ.
In moments of weakness, strengthen our faith.
In our daily struggles, remind us to trust in God’s providence.

Teach us to live with zeal,
to proclaim the Gospel not only in words but in actions,
and to become instruments of peace and conversion.

A spirit of faith, tradition, and joyful celebration fills the community as the faithful prepare for the Fiesta of Sr. San Vicente Ferrer – Catohugan, Mahinog, Camiguin this coming April 26–27, 2026.

The celebration will be highlighted by the Holy Masses:

The Visita Iglesia pilgrimage, led by Rev. Fr. Hawthorne Galas, SSJV, was prayerfully undertaken by the entire community, marking a meaningful journey of faith, reflection, and unity.

The community extend their heartfelt gratitude to a generous sponsor whose support made the journey possible, particularly in providing transportation around the island. This act of kindness greatly contributed to the smooth and meaningful conduct of the pilgrimage, allowing everyone to focus on prayer and reflection without concern for logistical challenges.

Prayer.

O my protector, St. Vincent Ferrer, as the eternal God has deposited in you an inexhaustible treasurer of grace and of supernatural virtues, hear my earnest petition, and help me with your intercession, more powerful now even than when you were on earth. Hence with blind confidence do I cast myself at your feet, there to place my requests for all those in whom I am concerned but more particularly for (special favor).

O glorious saint, let not my confidence in you be deceived. Present for me, to the Divine Majesty, your suppliant prayers and watch over my soul. Should sorrow and trials increase, so also will my rejoicing increase, and may my patience grow with each day, that I may thus save my soul. Amen.
