Guess who’s surprised right now?🤔🥳🎉

The Altar servers of San Miguel Arkanghel, Mahayag had an idea to give a wonderful✨ and meaningful 💞day to our beloved assistant priest, Fr. Greg. It was a simple celebration and surprise for him, but it was filled with heartfelt gratitude from us🥰, his altar servers, who are always by his side in serving the Lord🙏🏻.
We want to remind him how much we love and appreciate him. We are truly thankful to have him as one of our guides,teaching us, leading us, and inspiring us to serve God with dedication and faith✨.

Our SVFV Annual Reunion of Altar Servers celebrates our shared mission to serve with faith, humility, and joy 🙏✨. Guided by the theme, “You are the salt and light of the world,” we are reminded to bring flavor to the world through kindness and to shine as examples of Christ’s love 🕯️🌍. As altar servers, our role goes beyond the sanctuary,we are called to inspire others through our actions and dedication 💒💖. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dumigag Parish for warmly welcoming us and facilitating this meaningful gathering, as well as to our fellow parishes from Tumbling, Molave, Josefina, and Valencia though we only see each other once a year, this reunion makes our bond even more special 🤝🎉 We also thank our fellow servers from Mahayag for taking the time to participate, even during practices when we sometimes got scolded by our parents, and thank you also to our ever-supportive nanay Elsa and auntie Reyshel for their strength and unwavering support 💪💛. Dear SSLG Officers,

February 14th is fast approaching and with it, Valentines Day Celebrations and Activities are to be implemented. We, the Officers of Altar Servers in Mahayag (San Miguel Arkanghel Parish) learned that some schools are planning fake marriage activities as part of their programs, also known as marriage booth (if im not mistaken) 💍🎊. I respectfully request that if you're organizing such an event, please refrain from involving sacristans or using their sacred vestments, known as sutana.⛪️🙏

We would also politely ask to avoid using any elements related to church weddings or sacred ceremonies. If you plan to create replicas of sacred attire, please provide clear disclaimers indicating that they are not authentic or sacred.📝⚠️

This consideration should also extend to social media posts, including Facebook. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.🖥️📱

Let us celebrate Valentine’s Day with joy ❤️ while remaining respectful of faith and sacred traditions 🤍✨.
