Celebrating the Risen Lord together!

Our parish outing at Trister Resort, Namalpalan, Magsingal was a wonderful reminder of the hope and new life we share in Christ. It was a joy to see the whole parish community come together for this day of grace, laughter, and togetherness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this celebration so special!

In the stillness of this holy night, we gather as one parish family to celebrate the mother of all vigils, the Easter Vigil, where darkness turns into light and sorrow gives way to joy.

Blessing of the Fire and Lighting of the Paschal Candle:
From the new fire, Christ our Light shines forth. As we carry our candles, we are reminded that no darkness can overcome His glory.

Liturgy of the Word:
We listen to the story of salvation, Godโ€™s faithful love from creation to the Resurrection.

Renewal of Baptismal Promises:
Together, we reject sin and renew our faith, remembering that through Baptism we were buried with Christ so that we may also rise with Him to new life.

Sabet:
The bells ring, the altar is unveiled, and our hearts rejoice, for the Lord is truly risen!
May this Sabado de Gloria renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and fill our homes with the light and peace of the Risen Christ.

Good Friday: A Journey of Love and Sacrifice
"Father, forgive them... It is finished... Father, into your hands I commend my spirit."

Today, we meditate on the Seven Last Words of Jesusโ€”His final testament of mercy and total surrender. As we stand at the foot of the Cross, we remember the depth of the sacrifice made for our redemption.
May this day of silence and prayer renew our hearts. We join our community tonight in quiet reflection as we conclude with the Santo Entierro and the solemn procession.

On this Maundy Thursday, we remember the profound moments of the Last Supper and the Washing of the Feet, where Jesus showed us the true meaning of love, humility, and service.

"I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do." โ€“ John 13:15

May this sacred celebration at St. William the Hermit Parish โ€“ Magsingal remind us that greatness is found in serving others and loving one another without condition. As we begin the Sacred Triduum, may our hearts be renewed with faith, gratitude, and compassion.

Today, the diverse members of our parish family stood as one to reaffirm their "Yes" to the Lord. From those who serve at the Altar to those who serve the poor, every ministry renewed their Vow of Service, recommitting themselves to being the hands and feet of Christ in our community.

In the Mass, we sit at the table with the Lord, hearing the Gospel of His impending sacrifice. In the Estacion Heneral, we take that faith to the streets. As we process through our barangays and neighborhoods, we aren't just retracing ancient steps; we are bringing the presence of Christ into the very heart of our community.
Every station is a reminder that Christ walks with us in our own struggles, our own 'falls,' and our own crosses. Offered every step of the procession for the healing of our families, the peace of our nation, and the renewal of our hearts.

|| LUNES SANTO
MARCH 30, 2026

Todayโ€™s readings from the Book of Isaiah and the Gospel of John reveal a love that is both gentle and sacrificial.

As we continue our Holy Week journey, we are invited to examine our own hearts. Do we serve the Lord with quiet faithfulness? Do we offer Him our best โ€” not what is convenient, but what is precious?
May this Holy Monday be a moment of purification, devotion, and deeper love for Christ, who prepares to offer Himself completely for us.
