Congratulations to Archbishop David William V. Antonio of the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia on receiving the pallium from Pope Leo XIV.

The pallium, a white woolen band worn over the shoulders and adorned with six black crosses and three pins, symbolizes Christ the Good Shepherd carrying the lost sheep. It is a visible sign of the archbishop's pastoral authority, his sacred responsibility to shepherd the faithful, and his communion and unity with the Holy Father.

May the Lord continue to bless Your Excellency with wisdom, strength, and faithful service as you lead the people of God.

Lectors' Seminar for the Upcoming Renewal and Installation

Session 2: Understanding the Role, Attitude, and Mission of a Lector โ€“ How to Effectively Fulfill Our Duties and Responsibilities, Including the Key Dos and Don'ts When Delivering the Word of God.

Serving as a lector is more than reading the Scriptures during Mass. It is a calling to share God's Word with faith, respect, and love. In today's session, we reflected on our mission as lectors, learned our responsibilities, and discussed the proper attitude and preparation needed to serve well.

May this seminar strengthen our faith and inspire us to serve with humble hearts. As we continue preparing for our renewal and installation, may the Holy Spirit guide our words and actions, so that through our ministry, God's Word may touch the hearts of His people.
