Today, January 4, 2026, marks a significant and sacred milestone for the LGCAF-Artadi. As we gathered for our first Sunday worship and Holy Communion service of the year, we stood united in prayer and purpose. This first Sunday is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a spiritual gateway as we embark on a journey of faith, service, and community in this brand-new year.
As we stand at the threshold of 2026, we extend our warmest New Year greetings to every member, family, and friend of our community. A new year is a gift from the Almighty—a clean slate where His mercies are renewed and His promises are made manifest.
Let us move forward with the confidence that we do not walk alone. Though the future may be unknown, we serve a God who is already there. May this year be one of spiritual breakthroughs, where our testimonies grow louder and our devotion grows deeper. Let us commit to being "light and salt," carrying the peace we felt in today’s communion into every day of the coming year.
As we dedicate this year to our Omnipotent God, let us hold fast to the promise found in Isaiah 43:19:
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
And as we remember His constant care, we look to Lamentations 3:22-23:
"Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
We give all glory to God for the success of our first service. May His grace be your shield, His peace be your strength, and His love be your guide throughout 2026.
