Today, during The Feast of Corpus Christi, we bring to the altar the first fruits of the land—a thankful offering from “earth and human work” that becomes, by God’s grace, the bread of eternal life.

The Feast of Corpus Christi (Latin for “Body of Christ”) is a solemn celebration in which the Church publicly professes faith in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and invites believers to adoration, thanksgiving, and contemplation of the Blessed Sacrament.
On Corpus Christi, the Church “shows the world the Corpus Christi—the Body of Christ” and invites everyone: “Come let us adore Him”.
The focus is on the Sacrament in which Christ has left Himself—“Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity”—considered by the Church as the holiest reality because it is a “living memorial of the redeeming Sacrifice.”
