Last Sunday’s message reminded us that Jesus is not just someone we hear about, but the one true God who must be personally known through revelation and relationship. John 8:24 declares that faith in Jesus is not just knowledge but life itself, because He is the Alpha and Omega, the Almighty God, and the only Savior.

Just like we may know people by name or reputation, but only truly know them through a relationship, the same is true with Jesus. Many know His works, His miracles, and His power, yet still miss the fullness of who He really is as revealed in Scripture. Like Peter, who received revelation from the Father that Jesus is the Christ, we are brought to the truth that true knowledge of Jesus does not come from flesh and blood but from divine revelation, leading us into a real and living connection with Him.

Iisa lang ang tunay na Diyos na dapat nating sampalatayanan, kaya hindi Siya dapat manatiling basta naririnig lamang, kundi dapat Siyang makilala, sapagkat kung hindi tayo maniniwala na Siya ang Siya, tayo ay mamamatay sa ating mga kasalanan. Kaya ngayon ang panahon upang lalo pa Siyang makilala, sapagkat si Hesus ang nag-iisang Diyos na buhay, banal, at walang katulad.

Abiding in Christ is more than a Sunday connection. In John 15:1-5, Jesus reminded us that He is the True Vine, and apart from Him, we can do nothing. Real spiritual life, strength, and fruitfulness come when we remain connected to Him daily through prayer, obedience, His Word, and fellowship.

Just as a branch cannot survive without the vine, we too become spiritually dry when we are disconnected from Christ. The message reminded us that proximity is not the same as intimacy, because it is possible to be present in church but far from God in heart. Yet, the Good Gardener lovingly lifts fallen branches and prunes fruitful ones, shaping us to grow deeper and bear more fruit for His glory.

Hindi sapat na malapit lamang tayo sa Panginoon; kailangan nananatili rin tayo sa Kanya sapagkat sa Kanya ay may buhay, bunga, at lakas. Kaya’t manatiling konektado at matatag kay Kristo. ✨
