June 7, 2026, was filled with fruitful collaboration and community spirit at San Isidro Labrador Parish! Our Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) met with Fr. Ronald M. Josoy, DCT, for our very first official meeting, setting a positive tone for the parish's upcoming programs and spiritual initiatives.

The afternoon concluded with a heartwarming Welcome Program. Various parish organizations came together to present their well-wishes and messages of support to our new shepherd.

A deepest thank you to all the PPC members and ministry volunteers who made this gathering a success. Let us continue to support Fr. Ronald with our prayers and active service!

A beautiful, month-long journey of faith, devotion, and community comes to its joyful conclusion. The faithful of San Isidro Labrador Parish in Madrid, Surigao del Sur, gathered with one heart to celebrate the Culmination of Flores de Mayo 2026.

We offered our deepest love and prayers to our Blessed Mother, beginning our celebration with the holy sacrifice of the Mass. Following the Eucharistic celebration, a solemn procession moved through the streets of our town, bringing the light of faith into our community as our beautiful Reynas and young participants proudly walked with their roses and sashes.

Looking at the pure joy, innocence, and devotion captured, we are reminded of how vital it is to keep our sacred traditions alive in the hearts of the next generation. Thank you to all the parents, catechists, organizers, and parishioners who offered their time, effort, and love to make this year’s Flores de Mayo deeply meaningful.

May Mama Mary continue to wrap her mantle of protection around our families and our entire parish community.

​Looking back at these photos, our hearts are overflowing with both gratitude and emotion. For almost five years, we have been incredibly blessed to have Fr. Paul Cotejar as our parish priest. More than just our shepherd, he became a father, a mentor, and a true blessing to our entire community. Grabe ang pasalamat sa among kasingkasing for every Holy Mass, every piece of advice, and the dedication he poured into our parish.

​As much as we want to keep you here, we know we cannot hold you back. This is the beautiful, selfless reality of your vocation—to go wherever the Lord calls and to continue your mission of serving God’s people. You have nourished our faith, and now it is time for another community to experience the grace of your ministry.

On May 27, our parish gathered for a deeply meaningful turnover ceremony, marking a sacred transition in our parish's journey.

A turnover ceremony reminds us that endings and beginnings go hand in hand. As we close one wonderful chapter, we gracefully open another—ensuring that the foundation built with love and prayer remains strong, while welcoming new blessings for the future.

LOOK | Mass Confirmation at San Isidro Labrador Parish

Today marks a beautiful and grace-filled moment in the life of our parish as our young faithful received the Sacrament of Confirmation, strengthening their bond with Christ and fully embracing the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Surrounded by their families, sponsors, and the parish community, the confirmands stood proudly in faith, ready to continue their journey as active witnesses of God’s love and servants of the Church. The celebration was filled with prayer, joy, and thanksgiving as we witnessed another milestone in their spiritual lives.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire them with wisdom, courage, and unwavering faith as they grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord. Congratulations to all our newly confirmed!
