On September 8, as the Church celebrated the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our parish community continued its novena journey in honor of Birhen de los Desamparados.

The Day 2 Novena Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Leonardo Quizada Jr., DCT, School Director of Saint Michael’s School of Madrid, Inc.

Made even more meaningful by the celebration of Mary’s birthday, the faithful also expressed their love and devotion by offering flowers before her image—an offering of gratitude, love, and prayer to our Blessed Mother.

May Mary, our Mother of Mercy, continue to intercede for us and lead us ever closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.
