Cornfield Deanery SKEP Lenten Retreat at St. Polycarp Mission, Sangbay, Nagtipunan Quirino . Diving into Matthew 6:1-18, we were challenged to strip away the "show" and seek God in the quiet, honest places of our hearts.

The highlight was the Blindfold Activity—a true test for us youth. It’s scary to move when you can’t see the path, but it taught us the ultimate lesson: Even when the way is hidden and we are full of doubt, we must step forward and trust that God is already there. 🛡️👣

Through prayer and repentance, many found the courage to let go of regrets. As Sister Euni Kyle Eway shared, Prayer is the bridge across our fears. He is the Way, and with Him, nothing is impossible. ⛪️🛡️

November 30, 2025 | Cornfield Deanery Advent Retreat

A blessed weekend at St. Cyril Clustered Parish! 💜 The theme, "Wake up and Clothe yourselves in God," was the perfect call to action as we begin this season of expectation and preparation.

Advent truly is God's "alarm clock" for our souls—a vital time to clean up our hearts and intentionally "Put on Jesus." This retreat served as our time to STEP BACK—to reflect, reconnect, and rejuvenate our spirits through prayer and fellowship.

We were so blessed to have Sis Euni Kyle Eway Inue Yawe as our retreat master, who helped us break down the profound meaning of this season:
A—waken your heart
D—eepen your faith
V—alue God over temptation
E—mpty what blocks Him
N—ew beginning in Christ
T—rust God's timing

As we move forward into the Advent season, let's carry these lessons with us and live out our faith daily.
