It is not the things of this world that we need, but God whom we truly need.

Like David, even though he was already a king and already possessed the kingdom, behind his success he still continued seeking to find the presence of God.

Sometimes people think that blessings are only based on financial and material things, but little do we know that God has already blessed us in other aspects of our lives.

Just like Joseph when he came into Potiphar’s household, even Potiphar’s household was blessed because of him.

The Covenant Keeping God

There are prayers we have lifted for so long that still seem unanswered. At times, we begin to question the power of God. Yet let us remember that we serve a faithful God whose promises never fail. Though people may disappoint us, His word remains true. From the Old Testament until now, His promises continue to be proven in our lives.

Intimacy over Proximity

The preaching highlighted the story of Jesus who got betrayed by someone who has witnessed His miracles, power, and His works. Despite all of this, Judas managed to betray Him. After all the suffering that Jesus has experienced, there is one who remained to His side, one of His disciples, John. He witnessed every pain, every mocking, every hit that has caused Jesus the hardship, John stayed by His side.

This is now where the intimacy overpowers proximity. Proximity has emphasized the space that was shared, in which being compared to as the presence. (e.g. attending services, complete attendance on the conferences). However, the intimacy builds the connection of the 2 people who has shared not just space, but also, experienced the love.

We should not limit ourselves from being spectators of what is happening within the church who is already receiving the power of God. Be someone who builds a strong foundation with Christ.

This 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, we honor the unsung heroes in purple who pour their hearts into their ministries, offer a listening ear, and lead with kindness. Thank you for being a pillar of strength, a source of wisdom, and a shining example of God's love. We're grateful for you! ❤️

The induction of the newly elected officers of each of department was held during the Divine Service, headed by our Guest Speaker, Rev. Job Acuesta. They pledged to fully commit with the divine guidance of Jesus Christ.

May you be guided by the anointing and the divine providence of our God in leading and supporting our church.

“𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩—𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚.”

In Acts 16:27–31 reminds us that even in our darkest and hardest moments, God is still present. When fear, problems, and confusion hit, hope can feel far—but God never leaves.

This message encourages us to keep believing, even when life feels heavy. No matter how broken or unsure things seem, there is always hope in Jesus.

Tonight is the final wake for 𝗡𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗢𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮 at the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼, our beloved brother in Christ. With heavy yet hopeful hearts, we gather to give thanks for a life faithfully lived.

He served as a trusted leader in UPC Maco, remembered for his humility, integrity, and unwavering devotion to God and His church. His life was a living testimony of faith in action, and firmly rooted in Christ.

Though we grieve his passing, we are comforted by the promise of God that those who belong to Him now rest in eternal peace.

His legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. 🤍🕊

Sharing the gospel gives a clearer perspective of who Jesus is and are the things that he hath prepared for us.
