The world has changed, but the mission of Jesus has never changed.

More than 2,000 years ago, Jesus gathered His disciples and gave them one final command—not a suggestion, not an option, but a divine assignment:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..."
Matthew 28:19

This command still echoes today.

Our generation doesn't simply need bigger churches—it needs stronger disciples. It doesn't only need more attendees—it needs people who will follow Jesus wholeheartedly and help others do the same.

The Great Commission begins wherever God has placed you—in your home, your school, your workplace, your campus, your business, your community—and extends to the ends of the earth.

At CLC PHIL CON 2026, we believe that every believer is called, every leader is sent, and every church has a mission.

This conference is designed to equip pastors, leaders, volunteers, campus missionaries, and every follower of Christ to become effective disciple-makers who will influence cities, communities, and nations for the Kingdom of God.

God is not merely interested in what we accomplish; He is concerned with the heart behind it.

A task may be completed, yet lack willingness.
A ministry may be successful, yet lack love.
A race may be started, yet never finished.

The call to do well is a call to wholehearted devotion. It means offering God not our leftovers, but our best, because He gave His best for us.

May our lives reflect hearts that are willing to obey, eager to serve, faithful to finish, and filled with love for Christ.

In the end, what matters is not how much we did but whether we faithfully honored God with what He entrusted to us.

Your life has been a beautiful testimony of steadfast faith, quiet strength, and wholehearted devotion to the Lord. Through every season, you have faithfully walked beside Bishop Herley, not only as his beloved wife, but as a faithful partner in the calling God entrusted to both of you.

Thank you for being a spiritual mother, a woman of grace, and an inspiration to generations of believers. Your life continues to encourage us to serve God faithfully and love others wholeheartedly.

As we prepare our hearts for worship tomorrow, let's remember God's instruction to Israel:

"Consecrate yourselves... You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them." — Joshua 7:13

Sometimes, the battles we face are not because the enemy is too strong, but because we're holding on to what God has already told us to let go.

It may be a sinful habit, a wrong attitude, unforgiveness, or compromise. Whatever God is asking you to surrender, don't hold on to it.

Before we seek God's blessing, let's first seek a heart that is clean and fully surrendered to Him.

This Sunday, come before God with a willing heart. Repent, obey, and let Him lead you into the victory He has prepared.
