Though physically blind, the manโ€™s spiritual eyes were open to recognize Jesus. He cried out in faith for mercy, recovered his sight, and became a testimony that led many to praise God.

Last Sunday, we saw how Jesus proclaimed freedom to the captives.
The demon-possessed man lived among the tombs, helpless and hopeless.

But Jesus purposely went to him, freed him, restored his identity & dignity, & changed his life in a way no human could.

Just like him, we were once bound by sin, but Jesus brought us from darkness into true freedom.

We just kicked off our new series, ๐„๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ž. ๐™€๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง๐™ฎ๐™ฌ๐™๐™š๐™ง๐™š. And right from the start, we saw how Jesus and the early church made it their mission to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel among the poor.

Jesus welcomed everyoneโ€”He stepped right into their brokenness and showed that ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜จ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ธ๐˜ด ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜บ ๐˜ช๐˜ด ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜บ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ, ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜บ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ.

Itโ€™s โ€œ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ฅ ๐๐จ?โ€

The gospel brings hope to the hurting, freedom to the broken, and light to the darkest places.
