Pampanga continues to face widespread flooding brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, with rains expected to persist across the province. As of the latest report of the Social Action Center of Pampanga, 296 barangays in 17 LGUs are currently flooded, with some areas experiencing floodwaters reaching as high as 9 feet. Candaba, Bacolor, Guagua, Lubao, and other low-lying communities remain among the severely affected areas.

238,127 families or around 750,592 people have been reported affected, while 5,353 individuals are currently staying in 92 evacuation centers. Several roads remain impassable or restricted because of flooding, while some communities are also experiencing power interruptions.

The Archdiocesan Social Action Center of Pampanga (SACOP) has reactivated its Disaster Response Committee and is coordinating with affected parishes and communities. Relief operations are being prepared, with assistance requests currently being assessed from five parishes in our Archdiocese.
