OASIS OF LOVE-CEBU is officially known as "The Holy Spirit Evangelization Outreach-Oasis of Love Foundation of Cebu"; a community of Catholic renewing believers living in an environment of faith, hope and charity inspired by the WORD OF GOD & MAMA MARY Diana Limchua search for the oasis of their lives led them to attend the Oasis of Love-Manila's Life in the Spirit Seminar thru the invitation of
of Movie Director Maning Borlaza. GOD, in HIS great LOVE and MERCY, showed them that the oasis they were looking for could only be found by shepherding Oasis of Love - Manila's outreach, The HOLY SPIRIT EVANGELIZATION OUTREACH - OASIS OF LOVE OF CEBU -- popularly known as OASIS OF LOVE-CEBU. What started our as the first Oasis of Love-Cebu Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar (CLSS) at the USC Retreat House on August 4, 5 and 6, 1995 with only 46 participants grew to a staggering number of thousands with every CLSS batch surpassing each other in number. The Oasis Family led by Tatay Dodong and Nanay Diana Limchua (as the members of the community called them) and ably supported by the Council of Servants and Community Members, unflinchingly and tirelessly give their whole selves th the realization of the Mission. From the start, The HOLY SPIRIT , has been pouring forth HIS gifts of love, healing and evangelization to the Oasis of Love-Cebu Family. The second, third and fourth/fifth Wednesdays of the month brings the Oasis Family for the regular prayer meeting. Initially, it was at Redemptorist Church, then at Sacred Heart School for Boys Gym and at present at the Mabolo Church. Spiritual Director and laity take turns in in sharing the WORD OF GOD. Believing that the Holy Mass brings healing of the body, soul and spirit, not only community members but also hundreds of people respond to JESUS invitation to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass every first Wednesday of the month. Growth Seminars also nourish the members in their quest not only for more of GOD and HIS WORD but also for practical ways of day to day living. The Oasis calendar, aside from quarterly Oasis of Love-Cebu Walking with JESUS Seminar is always full of outreaches for the Visayas and Mindanao. In 2004, he founded the first Catholic TV Station in Asia, Cebu Catholic Television Network (CCTN) to expand the ministry through Media with His Eminence Ricardo Cardinal Vidal as the Chairman of the Board. Presently, we are being sheperd by two Spiritual Directors: Arch. of Cebu and his Auxiliary Bishop Julito Cortes. The seed the Limchua couple planted in 1995 has finally grown into a tree. Showered by the TRIUNE GOD's LOVE and covered by Mama Mary's blue Mantle of protection, the tree has continued to bloom. Its fruits has been touching other people's lives and bringing them closer to the WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EMMANUEL - GOD IS WITH US.
