When you heal the root cause the sickness and disease begins to disappear. I have personally seen this thousands of times in my 50 years of ministry. One of the many scriptures that prove that specific diseases have a spiritual root is found in Proverbs 17:22 (KJV): “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.”

Love never controls and replaces, love empowers & develops. Good hearted and well meaning leaders who have not been mentored “Jesus Style”, can mess up your life. Real leaders empower you to follow Jesus & not them. Insecure leaders are unfortunately one of the most destructive elements in the body of Christ. Insecure leaders fearfully control Instead of lovingly lead. Our desire to control other people is a direct reflection of our own personal insecurities.

👉🏽We want to become leaders that people love to follow! When a leader gets better, everyone gets better.
* Leadership is influence. Everybody has influence.
* You do not need a title to be a leader, leadership is always about trust and influence.
* As leaders, we can make excuses or we can make a difference, but we cannot make both.
* "Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that this impact lasts & continues in your absence.”
As a leader, there is a big difference between being respected and being popular. You may be popular if you are respected, but you will never be respected if you are only popular.

3 Things You Feel Under a Good Leader:
1. You feel valued
2. You feel inspired
3. You feel empowered

4 Ways to Create an Environment where People Feel Those Things:
1. We need a heart to care.
* You will never be a leader that others love to follow if you aren’t a leader who truly loves people.
* Use these four words often: “I Notice” & “You Matter.”
* Appreciate people more than you should and then double it.
* Some leaders will make you think that they are really important, but the best leaders will make you know that you are important.

2. We need a passion to inspire.
* There is a difference between inspiration and motivation. Motivation is pushing people do something they don’t want to do. Inspiration is pulling out of them what is already there.
* Employees who describe themselves as inspired are twice as productive.
* Humility inspires. Pride discourages.
* Follow-through inspires. Be a leader who consistently does what you say you’re going to do.
* Centered Leaders: The presence of a centered leader inspires. A centered leader is secure, stable, confident, guided by values, driven by purpose and obsessed with vision.
* Passion transforms a job into a calling. When passion meets inspirations, an obsession is born.

3. We need a willingness to empower.
* The best leaders unleash higher performance through empowerment, not command and control.
* The best leaders unleash higher performance through empowerment, not command and control.
* You can have control, or you can have growth. But you cannot have both.
* Delegate authority, not tasks. We need to give people ownership. Let your people soar. Give them freedom, and allow them to fail.
* Decision making: As leaders, we need to be delegating more decisions. Use phrases like “I trust you,” “You decide on this one,” “I trust your judgment.”
* The best way to find out if you trust someone is to trust them.
* If you don’t trust your team, you’re either too controlling or you have the wrong people, either way the problem is yours to solve.

4. We need to have courage.
* We need the courage to be real, transparent, vulnerable, humble, integrous and honest.
* We need to step into the role we are given and lead with passion and integrity.
* As leaders, we feel pressure to be perfect, strong and right. People aren’t looking for that. People would rather follow someone who is real than someone who is right.
* We’re going to do the best we can. And when we get it wrong, we’re going to say, “I’m sorry.”

The stakes are very high. It’s time for leaders to stand up. Jesus demonstrates all of these things.
- Jesus had a heart to care.
- Jesus had a passion to inspire.
- Jesus had a willingness to empower.
- Jesus Style Leadership changes everything.

“Next Generation Leadership Training” with Pst. John. Episode 1: “The Law of the Self.” The GREATEST investment you can make is to INVEST in YOU being trained in JESUS STYLE LEADERSHIP. The title doesn’t make the person, the person make the title. How well you lead determines how much you succeed. You can never lead anyone beyond your own leadership level.

The Holy Spirit can do more in an instant than we can do in a lifetime by practicing his presence, bring led by him & being filled with Him.
In the glory of God, all things are possible, and everything about you becomes transformed by His power.

Knowing the person of the Holy Spirit will completely change your life. Peter, who just days before was so WEAK and TIMID that he couldn’t manage to confess Jesus even though wanted to, was in a moment FULL of POWER when the Holy Spirit CAME & fell upon him.

FORGIVENESS is a CHOICE, not a feeling! Proverbs 19:11 says, “A man’s wisdom gives him patience and it is to his glory to overlook an offense.” When you know you are forgiven you are empowered to forgive others.

What is the key to unlock your invisible prison door?
- Forgiveness is the birthing place of all freedom.
- Forgiveness is a choice & not a feeling.
- Forgiveness opens the door to healing. When you choose to walk in forgiveness you BREAK the CONTOL of those who hurt you.
- Forgiveness is the highest expression of love.
- Forgiveness releases the power of God for healing, restoration & miracles.
FORGIVENESS is a CHOICE, not a feeling - you might say: They owe me big-time. But forgiveness is releasing them from that debt and giving up the right to be treated fairly by them. WHEN YOU MAKE THE CHOICE TO FORGIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT BEGINS HEALING THAT SPECIFIC HURT.
- Forgiveness is releasing that person for what they did or did not do to you.
- Healing is the removing of the hurt & sting of the pain in your heart after someone has hurt you.

We don’t forgive because anyone deserves to be forgiven, we forgive because we are forgiven. We are called to forgive one another as Christ as forgiven us. (See Ephesians 4:32).
God LOVES you so much that HE wants to SAVE YOU FROM THE CANCER OF BITTERNESS & UN-FORGIVENESS. Bitterness & unforgiveness kills, destroys & make you old but forgiveness heals, makes us young, restores, blesses us & releases God’s favor & protection on our lives.

God wants to teach us to forgive & love like Jesus. We only learn to love if we learn to forgive. The more we forgive the more we love. The MORE we KNOW how MUCH WE ARE FORGIVEN & how much HE has FORGIVEN US the more we are EMPOWERED to forgive & love others. THOSE WHO ARE FORGIVEN FORGIVE MUCH, LOVE MUCH. (See Ephesians 4:32 & Luke 7:47).
