THE GREATEST FEAST
Easter Sunday
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish- Baliangao
Easter Sunday is the greatest feast of our faith because it proclaims the victory of life over death.
—————-
When the women came to the tomb, they expected to find a body—but instead, they found an empty tomb and a living hope.
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ reminds us that:
1. No darkness has the final word.
Even at rock bottom, there is still hope. Do not despair.
In your darkest moment, God is closest to you—holding you, lifting you, and guiding you toward the light.
No problem is too heavy, no pain too deep, that God cannot redeem.
Hold on. Trust. This is not the end of your story.
Rise again—hope is alive. Alleluia.
2. No sin has the final word.
Sinners are always given a chance. But the real question is:
Are you willing to give your loved one a second chance in your life?
Forgiveness is not easy—it asks for humility, courage, and love.
But just as God never gives up on us, we are invited to never give up on others.
A second chance does not erase the past, but it opens the door to healing and a new beginning.
Love again. Trust wisely. Forgive sincerely.
For in giving others a chance, we reflect the mercy we ourselves receive.
3. No suffering has the final word.
When we suffer—through sickness, problems, or even the loss of a loved one—it reminds us that we are alive.
Pain is not meaningless. It is often the place where love is proven, faith is tested, and hope is born. If we feel sorrow, it is because we have loved. If we struggle, it is because we are still journeying.
So do not lose heart. Even in suffering, there is life.
Even in tears, there is grace.
Even in darkness, there is a promise of light.
To suffer is human—but to endure with faith is to truly live.

God always brings new life.
Today, we are invited not just to celebrate, but to live as Easter people of hope, courage, and joy.
Christ is alive—and because He lives, we too shall live. Alleluia!
Happy Easter Kaparokya!
