One disturbing thing happening in the Church today is the misuse of the word “supernatural.”

Many gatherings and fellowships now use the supernatural to attract people and increase crowds. But there can be no true supernatural apart from Jesus being preached.

What is the supernatural? Signs, wonders, and miracles.

Yet many of the so-called miracles being displayed today—manifestations, shaking, convulsions, and demonstrations of “power” without the preaching of Jesus Christ—are counterfeit and deceptive. Because if Christ is not being proclaimed, revealed, and glorified, then it is not from God.

The Holy Spirit will always glorify Jesus. Anything supernatural that removes Christ from the center opens the door to another spirit. And the reason these deceptions are increasing is because satan and the spirit of antichrist know that the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is near.

Even if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, but the words coming out of your mouth are against the Word of God, nothing will happen. You become like a fisherman who labored all night but caught nothing.

So let what you speak be His Word and His promises. For God is faithful to His Word, He watches over it to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12)

When your mouth aligns with His Word, that is when God begins to move in your life. Speak what God says, and watch Him fulfill it.
