Today’s message, “Overflowing Grace: Power of Words through Scriptures,” reminded us that God’s Word is not merely read, but lived, spoken, and applied in our daily walk.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God,and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Through Scripture, we reflected on how God’s Word works in our lives:
Bread - Spiritual Nourishment
The Word of God sustains our spirit. Just as the body needs food daily, our faith grows when we consistently feed on Scripture.
Mirror - Spiritual Transformation
The Word reveals our true spiritual condition and calls us to remain connected to Christ. Transformation happens when we abide in Him, the true vine. Apart from Christ we cannot bear fruit, but through Him our lives grow, change, and reflect His purpose.
Weapon - Spiritual Power
God’s Word equips us for spiritual battles. Through truth, we demolish lies, take captive our thoughts, and stand firm against the enemy.
Overflowing grace flows through Scripture that nourishes, transforms, and empowers. May we continue to read it, speak it, believe it, and live it every day.
