UPC Madapdap

UPC Madapdap We are the United Pentecostal Church of Madapdap! Based on Scripture, we believe the following. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh.

We are located in Block 39 Lot 68, 14th Street, Madapdap Resettlement, Mabalacat City, Pampanga 2010, Philippines. The United Pentecostal Church of Madapdap (UPC Madapdap) is an Apostolic Pentecostal church in principle, practice, and power, being led by our local Pastor, Pastor Armando Daquis. We’re Bible-based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs and our lifestyle on explicit passages of t

he Bible or on biblical principles. ABOUT THE BIBLE
The Bible is the infallible Word of God, the authority for salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

ABOUT GOD
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. He is both God and man (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)

ABOUT SIN AND SALVATION
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith, based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

ABOUT THE GOSPEL
The saving gospel is good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4)

ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIVING
As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing , are for the church today (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians12:8-10)

ABOUT THE FUTURE
Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgement . The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)

We give all the glory and praise to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

BATTLE BEFORE BLESSINGS.

Genesis 32:24–28

Sometimes, we look at someone’s blessing and only see the VICTORY. We don’t see the battles they had to fight, the prayers they prayed, the tears they cried, and the nights they almost wanted to give up.

Jacob wrestled through the night. And when he was told to let go, he said:

“I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” — Genesis 32:26

Sometimes, before the blessing comes, there is a BATTLE

Before the breakthrough, there is WAITING
Before the answer, there is PRAYER
Before the victory, there is PERSEVERANCE

And just like Jacob, there are moments when we have to hold on to God and say, *“Lord, kahit mahirap, hindi ako bibitaw. Kahit hindi ko pa nakikita ang sagot, magtitiwala pa rin ako sa Iyo.”*

But trusting God doesn't mean we stop doing our part.

-We pray, but we also work.
-We trust, but we also obey.
-We ask God for opportunities, but we also prepare ourselves when they come.**

Do your part faithfully, then leave the results in God's hands.

Maybe the battle you're facing right now isn't a sign that God has forgotten you.

Maybe God is preparing you for what you've been praying for.

So don't give up in the middle of the battle.

Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep doing your part.
Keep holding on to God.

Because sometimes, the battle comes before the blessing—but God is with you through both.

Hold on. Your story is not over yet.

Fear will always make the giants look bigger than they really are. Faith reminds us that our God is greater than every giant we face.

"The land of giants. God's promise is better than our fear."
📖 Numbers 13:26–33

The twelve spies all saw the same land. They all witnessed the same evidence of God's promise, a land flowing with milk and honey. Yet they left with two different perspectives. Ten focused on the giants. Caleb focused on God.

Sometimes we are just like the Israelites.

We see the obstacles.
We see the impossibilities.
We see the fears.
And we forget the God who has never failed us.

We've seen You heal us.
We've seen how You've blessed us.
We've seen how You've rescued us.
We've seen how faithful You have always been.

So why do we still worry?
Why do we let fear speak louder than Your promises?

This isn't the first time You've carried us through.
This isn't the first battle You've fought for us.
This isn't the first impossible situation You've turned into a testimony.

You have always been on time.
Never early. Never late. Always faithful.

The enemy wants us to see ourselves as grasshoppers, just as the spies did. But God never called us to measure ourselves against the giants. He called us to trust the One who is greater than every giant.

Don't let fear write the story that faith was meant to tell.

Whatever giant is standing before you today—fear, sickness, uncertainty, financial struggles, broken relationships, anxiety, or unanswered prayers..

Remember this:

God's promise is bigger than your fear.
His faithfulness is greater than your doubts.
His power is stronger than every obstacle.

Choose to see your future through God's promises, not through your fears.

The same God who healed you before can heal again.
The same God who provided before will provide again.
The same God who rescued you before will rescue you again.

Keep trusting.
Keep believing.
Keep moving forward.

Because the land of promise is still worth pursuing, and the God who promised it is faithful to fulfill every word.

God's promise is always greater than our fear.

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." — Hebrews 11:6

How can the Lord move in your life if you never ask?

How can you receive if you never seek?

How can you walk in His authority if you never pray in the mighty name of Jesus?

Faith reaches out. Faith seeks. Faith believes. God responds to hearts that trust Him. It begins with one person believing, but imagine what God can do when an entire church believes together.

For many years, we have worshipped in a place we do not own. We've prayed, served, cried, celebrated, and witnessed countless lives transformed within these walls. There was even a time when this property was almost sold to someone else. But God, in His mercy and perfect timing, did not allow it to happen. He has preserved this place for a reason.

One day, we will no longer be renting this church.

One day, by God's grace, we will call this place our own, not because of our strength or resources, but because of His faithfulness.

But for that day to come, we must stand together in faith. We must pray together, believe together, and trust that the God who has sustained us all these years will also provide what seems impossible.

The measure of our faith is not determined by what we see, but by the God we believe in.

Let's continue to seek Him. Let's continue to ask. Let's continue to believe.

Because with God, the impossible becomes possible.

Lord, we believe. Increase our faith!

Our Bible study last Saturday focused on what Jesus taught in John 3—that every person must be born again.

The new birth is not merely a change in behavior, but a work of God that transforms the heart and begins a lifelong walk with Him.

Born again is not just a religious phrase; it is the new birth that Jesus Himself declared is necessary to enter the Kingdom of God.

As Jesus said,
“𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐞, 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭, 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝."
—𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟑:𝟓

There is nothing more beautiful than opening God's Word together. 📖 All glory and honor belong to Jesus. 🙌🏻

Hebrews 4:12
"For the word of God is alive and active..."

If you want Jesus to truly live in your heart, you must spend time in His Word.

Many people desire God's presence, peace, and guidance, yet neglect the very place where He speaks. How can the Lord live richly within us if His Word is not in our hearts? God reveals Himself through His Word. It is not just a book—it is living, powerful, and life-changing.

When you read and meditate on Scripture, you are not simply reading words; you are drawing closer to Jesus Himself. His Word strengthens your faith, renews your mind, and reminds you of His promises.

Jesus said in Mark 9:23, "Everything is possible for one who believes." When we pray and trust Him, God moves. But when His Word is rooted deep within us, we can stand firm even when life falls apart.

When people fail, His Word remains.
When fear comes, His Word speaks.
When hope feels lost, His Word restores.
When everything around you changes, His Word never changes.

God's Word still lives.
God's Word still speaks.
God's Word still heals.
God's Word still saves.

Don't just read the Bible occasionally, let it become part of your daily life. The more His Word fills your heart, the more Christ is revealed in you.

Why do we pray?

When we pray, we are not speaking into emptiness, we are talking to our Heavenly Father who knows every pain, every tear, every silent battle, and every desire hidden deep in our hearts.

The Lord does not ask for perfect grammar, deep words, or long speeches. Before you even open your mouth, God already knows what your heart is carrying.

What He desires is sincerity.

A humble heart.
A clean heart that longs for Him.

The Bible reminds us to “pray without ceasing.” Because prayer keeps our spirit alive and connected to God. Without daily prayer, the spirit becomes weak, and when the spirit is weak, the heart, mind, and body slowly become weary and empty.

But prayer gives strength.
Prayer gives peace.
Prayer heals wounded hearts.
Prayer restores broken souls.

God’s Word says:
“Call unto Me, and I will answer you.”
“Knock, and the door will be opened unto you.”
No prayer is ever wasted. Heaven listens every time you call on the name of the Lord. Sometimes all you can say is, “Lord, help me,” and even that simple cry reaches Heaven.

So never stop praying.
Pray in the good times.
Pray in the painful times.
Pray when you understand, and even when you don’t.
Because there is power in prayer, and there is a faithful God who hears you, sees you, and will never leave you..
Don’t carry your burdens alone.
Kneel down. Pray. Trust Him.
God is listening.
