Our Lady of Grace Parish, Mabalacat Founded in the year 1712. The Augustinian Recollects founded the mission for Mabalacat in 1712 and labored the faith in this town.

The parish was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title Our Lady of Grace, an early Augustinian devotion.

On August 22, 2026, participants gathered for a meaningful seminar on โ€œMinistry on Christian Service,โ€ led by guest speaker Among Eddie Panlilio. The session focused on the heart of Christian service: sharing our gifts, blessings, and love with others.

Among Ed opened with a thought-provoking question: โ€œWhat is the greatest gift you have received in your life?โ€ He encouraged participants to recognize that Godโ€™s blessings are not meant to be kept for ourselves but shared with others.

Reflecting on the life of Jesus, Among Ed emphasized that true service begins with compassionโ€”seeing othersโ€™ struggles, understanding their needs, and responding with love. He reminded participants that service should come from the heart, not for recognition or personal gain, but as an expression of gratitude and genuine care.

He also stressed that everyone has a unique role in the Church and community. Our talents, knowledge, experiences, and blessings are entrusted to us so that we may become blessings to others.

The seminar left the parish leaders with a simple yet powerful reminder: Christian service is more than fulfilling responsibilities. It is living out Christโ€™s love. Through compassionate hearts and willing hands, everyone is called to continue Christโ€™s mission to love and serve others.

A powerful reminder from Among Ed Panlilio during the Formation Seminar on โ€œMinistry on Christian Serviceโ€ last August 22, 2026.

He reminded us that true service begins with a compassionate heartโ€”seeing the needs of others and responding with love. May we serve not for recognition, but simply out of gratitude, care, and love.

May we continue to see Jesus in every person we serve and allow His love to guide everything we do.

A glimpse into the highlights of our Lay Leadersโ€™ Seminar on Liturgyโ€”a time of learning, reflection, and deepening our appreciation of the Churchโ€™s prayer and worship.

May we always remember that liturgy is more than rituals and external ceremonies. Above all, it is a way that leads us to Jesusโ€”encountering Him, drawing closer to Him, and allowing Him to transform our lives.

May our service in the liturgy always point hearts to Christ.

Today, the Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Bartholomew, Apostle, one of the first disciples called to follow Jesus. Traditionally identified with Nathanael in the Gospel, he encountered Christ and made a beautiful profession of faith:

โ€œRabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.โ€
โ€” John 1:49

Saint Bartholomew's journey reminds us that following Jesus begins with an encounter with Him. From the moment he recognized Christ, he answered the call to become His disciple and dedicated his life to proclaiming the Gospel.

As an Apostle, Saint Bartholomew left behind his former life and journeyed to bring others to know and believe in Jesus. His faithfulness to the Gospel eventually led him to give his life as a martyr.

His witness challenges us to reflect on our own response to Christ's call. Are we willing to follow Him, trust Him, and remain faithful even when the path becomes difficult?

As we celebrate his feast, may Saint Bartholomew inspire us to live our parish theme, โ€œAll for Jesus.โ€ Like him, may our encounter with Christ transform our lives and lead us to proclaim Him through our words, actions, and service. May we have the courage to give not only a part of ourselves, but our whole lives to the One who calls us.

Saint Bartholomew, Apostle, pray for us, that we may faithfully follow Christ, courageously proclaim His Gospel, and dedicate all that we are and all that we doโ€”All for Jesus. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค

Rain or shine, Our Lady of Grace Parish continues to serve and share Godโ€™s blessings with families in our community through the distribution of 600 sacks of rice, made possible through the ๐Œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐œ๐š ๐…๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ฌ of the parish.

Through this simple act of love and generosity, may we bring nourishment to the table, hope to every heart, and remind one another that we are never alone.

Rain or shine, we serve. Rain or shine, we share. All for Jesus!

May everything we do be offered for His greater glory.

Simon Peter said in reply,
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Jesus said to him in reply,
