Hey youths it’s FTW!
GRACE JOURNEY 🚶♀️
Knowledge vs Comprehension
Knowledge = Alam mo yung information.
Comprehension = Naiintindihan mo kung ano ang meaning at implication ng information.
Now, let’s dwell on the love of God, not just to know about His love, but to truly comprehend who He is and what His love means in our lives.
Because,
“If you’re not informed, you’ll be deformed.”
Ephesians 3:17–19 NLT
“Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
1. GROUNDED IN LOVE
Ephesians 3:17 NLT
Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”
Kung hindi natin alam kung sino si God at gaano Niya tayo kamahal, madaling ma-deform ang perspective natin.
Minsan kasi, we measure our worth based on:
* career
* money
* achievements
* relationship
* grades
* position
* what other people think about us
Pero sabi ni Paul:
Philippians 3:7–8 NLT
“I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ”
PRICE vs. VALUE
Not because those things are automatically bad.
But because nothing compares to Christ.
Career? Good.
Money? Useful.
Success? Good.
Dreams? Important.
But Christ is everything.
As long as we have Christ, we have what ultimately matters.
Because when you have Christ, you have something the world cannot give:
Eternal life.
And that is the greatest expression of God’s love.
2. PERSUADED BY GOD’S LOVE
Romans 8:38–39
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Paul didn’t just know God’s love.
He was convinced of it.
Grounded = “I know God loves me.”
Persuaded = “I am convinced that God loves me.”
There will be seasons na mahirap.
May disappointment.
May failure.
May unanswered prayers.
May times na parang tahimik si God.
Pero our hope is not secure because we are always faithful.
Our hope is secure because God remains faithful.
Kintsugi Story 🏺
Kintsugi is a Japanese art where broken pottery is repaired using gold.
The cracks aren’t hidden.
Instead, they’re highlighted.
Why?
Because the broken piece becomes something beautiful and valuable.
Ganun din ang grace ni God.
Your brokenness doesn’t make you worthless.
Your failures don’t cancel God’s love.
Your past doesn’t make you beyond redemption.
If the world sees gold as something valuable, how much more valuable is the love of Christ that covers and restores us?
That’s why:
Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
This generation doesn’t just need more technology, advancement, or information.
This generation needs to experience the love of Christ.
3. SUFFICIENT IN LOVE
2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT
“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
This is where the journey becomes personal.
Grounded:
“I know God’s love.”
Persuaded:
“I believe God’s love is true, even when life is difficult.”
Sufficient:
“God’s love and grace are enough for me.”
God says:
“My grace is all you need.”
So, hindi enough na alam lang natin na mahal tayo ni God. We need to understand what His love means for us, who He is, and who we are because of His love and Grace for us.
