Theme: Learning from the Failures of the Past
Text: 1 Corinthians 10:1-13

Paul reminds believers about the history of Israel in the wilderness. Though God blessed and guided them providing protection, food, and water many still fell into sin because of disobedience, idolatry, complaining, and unbelief.
Their story becomes a warning and lesson for us today. Romans 15:4
As Christians, we may be active in church, know the Bible, and experience God’s blessings, but we must guard our hearts and remain faithful. Spiritual privilege is not a substitute for obedience. Paul teaches that temptation is real, but God is faithful.
He will never allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear and always provides a way to escape.
This passage challenges us to examine our lives.
Are we trusting God daily, or becoming careless in our walk with Him? Instead of repeating the mistakes of the past, we should live in humility, depend on God’s strength, and pursue holiness.

Glory to God for the successful prayer meeting last wednesday! 🙌🏻

1 Corinthians 9:24-27
The Apostle Paul the teaches us about sacrifice, discipline, and wholehearted commitment to the Gospel. Though he had rights as an apostle, he willingly gave up personal comfort so that more people could know Christ. This reminds us that serving God is not about what we can gain, but how we can glorify Him and help others grow in faith.
Paul compares the Christian life to a race. Just as athletes discipline themselves to win a prize, believers must also live with spiritual discipline, praying, obeying God’s Word, resisting temptation, and remaining faithful in the ministry. Our goal is not an earthly reward, but an eternal crown from God.

As Christians, are we running our spiritual race with purpose? Are we willing to sacrifice comfort for God’s work? May we live disciplined lives, serve God with sincerity, and always give our best for His glory.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate(Self-control) in all things.

Thank you Ptr. Rey Cañete Bro Noy for sharing that the our enemy is already defeated by Jesus Christ.

Theme: Defeated Enemy
Text: Ephesians 6:10-18
The message reminds us of a powerful truth: the enemy is already defeated,but the battle is still real. In Ephesians chapter 6, Apostle Paul calls believers not to fight for victory, but to stand in the victory that Christ has already won.
Our struggle is not against people, but against spiritual forces. That’s why we are commanded to “put on the whole armor of God.” Each piece matters: truth guards our minds, righteousness protects our hearts, faith shields us, salvation secures us, the Word of God becomes our weapon, and prayer keeps us connected to God’s power.
The enemy may attack, but he cannot win against a believer who is fully equipped in Christ. Victory is not about our strength—it’s about standing firm in God’s strength.
Application:
Stand firm daily. Don’t face life spiritually unprepared. Wear the armor, stay in prayer, and remember: our enemy is already defeated.
