To all Young Professionals in our district, be informed....

Dear Youth,

It is with deepest regret that we must announce the cancellation of the East Visayan Conference Adventist Young Professionals Convention 2018 that was scheduled on November 1-4, 2018 at Libas, Merida, Leyte.

As we prepared for this year's convention, we were excited about the topics, the venue, and the possible activities that we initially planned on executing during the event. However, we have struggled with managing our time. The members of the team in charge of organizing the event are comprised mostly of working/employed professionals. We have not anticipated personal work schedules that conflicted with the time that were supposed to spend on committee meetings for the event's preparation. As the days drew near we came to the conclusion that we could not pursue with the convention.

We remain committed to better serving the youth of this conference. Perhaps in the future we will be able to overcome the challenges that we are currently facing by God's Grace.

Again, we are deeply sorry about not being able to execute our event and any unfulfilled expectations that this may have caused. We still look forward to hear from you once we have settled these issues.
