Family Day II gathered the seminary community together with families, friends, benefactors, and guests for a joyful Christmas celebration. Held after the Solemn Rites of Investiture, the event became a moment of gratitude and fellowship, as the community spent time with the people who continually support and journey with the seminarians in their vocation.
The seminary extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined and made the celebration meaningful.

π’πŽπ‹π„πŒπ π‘πˆπ“π„π’ πŽπ… πˆππ•π„π’π“πˆπ“π”π‘π„ | The Saint Pope Paul VI Seminary joyfully celebrated the Solemn Rites of Investiture of the Class of St. Michael the Archangel at the Bishop’s Residence Chapel, Asuncion, Maasin City. The sacred celebration was presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Precioso D. Cantillas, SDB, D.D., Bishop of Maasin, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Alexes B. Villarubin, JCL, Seminary Rector, together with the seminary formators and priest friends of the newly invested seminarians.

The celebration was graced by the presence of families, friends, benefactors, and guests, and was made even more meaningful as it coincided with the seminary’s Second Family Day and Christmas Party - an occasion of joy, gratitude, and communion for the whole community.

May the Lord grant the newly invested seminarians perseverance and fidelity as they continue their journey of formation.

𝐀𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐦 πƒπžπ’ 𝐆π₯𝐨𝐫𝐒𝐚𝐦 | The Saint Pope Paul VI Seminary is pleased to announce the Solemn Rites of Investiture for the Class of Saint Michael the Archangel. This special event will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 8:30 AM at the Bishop’s Residence Chapel in Asuncion, Maasin City. The sacred rites will be presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Precioso D. Cantillas, SDB, D.D., Bishop of Maasin.

The Investiture with the Cassock is a deeply meaningful and eagerly anticipated event in a seminarian’s formation. It marks the official step of dedicating oneself more fully to the priesthood, as they receive the cassock and surplice, symbols of their commitment to live a life of service, prayer, and devotion to God and His people.

Let us continue to pray for these seminarians as they take this important step in their formation, and may we all support them with our prayers as they journey closer to their sacred calling.
