The SWLC-CYF was honored to present its accomplishments, updates, and continuing directions during the 2nd Regular Conference Council Meeting, held at UCCP Otikon, Southern Leyte, on October 2, 2026.
Our CYF President, Mr. Roseller C. Pelayre Jr., presented the SWLC-CYF report, highlighting the ministryโs activities, milestones, and ongoing work across the conference.
Among the highlights were:
โข The organization and strengthening of the SWLC-CYF ExeCom and committees, including the formulation of the SWLC-CYF OGSM for E.Y. 2026โ2028.
โข The continued strengthening of Circuit CYF fellowships, with youth gatherings, input sessions, leadership elections, and fellowship activities across different circuits and clusters.
โข The participation of CYFs in Circuit Joint Fellowships, strengthening fellowship and connection among young people across the conference.
โข The observance of Youth Sunday, together with the ongoing collection of documentation and remittance of special offerings from local churches.
โข The SWLC-CYFโs ministry of care, solidarity, and accompaniment, including the Vigil Service for former Circuit 3 Coordinator Jonathan Montero and the expression of appreciation to Conference Minister Rev. Lotis Fiel during her birthday.
โข Continued efforts toward accountability, coordination, and responsible stewardship within the CYF and the adoption of financial policies for CYF activities.
As we continue walking together in ministry, the SWLC-CYF remains committed to building a youth ministry grounded in faith, fellowship, service, accountability, and meaningful engagement with our communities.
