We are happy to inform our parishioners and children that tomorrow marks the first day of the month-long celebration of 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼.

The schedule is as follows:
• Monday to Friday (Weekdays): starts at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon
• Saturday & Sunday (Weekends): starts at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon

We encourage the children to bring:
• Rosary beads
• Flowers to offer
• Water
• (Other essential/s)

Commission on Youth - MMGP Ichon kindly ask that they wear proper attire: dresses for girls and appropriate clothing for boys.

𝟰|𝟱|𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐍! 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐋𝐔𝐈𝐀, 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐋𝐔𝐈𝐀!

At the early dawn of this 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, women came with Mother Mary and the men followed Jesus Christ. A procession was made leading to a holy and joyful reunion of the two, in our dialect we call it “𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘁 o 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗼” and it was as if angels themselves were singing, rejoicing in this reunion.

An angel removing Mother Mary's black veil signifies the transition from sorrow to joy. This act represents the end of her mourning after Jesus' death and the start of her rejoicing upon seeing her son risen. Truly, Mary’s love for her son shone with unwavering faith standing by Him in sorrow and rejoicing with Him in the glory of the resurrection.

This Easter Sunday, we are reminded and sang by the Psalm: “𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗼, 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗱𝘆𝗮 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝘂𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮” (“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” -𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟭𝟭𝟴:𝟮𝟰).

The mass was presided over by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗙. 𝗚𝗼𝘇𝗼, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁.

ICYMI, Easter is not just a single day but a 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹. Let us carry the light of the risen Christ into our family, workplace, and community so that others may see His love alive in us.

𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐎 𝐃𝐄 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀 | The laity of Mary Mediatrix of All Grace Parish, Ichon, Macrohon gathered in a quiet and prayerful way for the Easter Vigil, the most important celebration of the Church year.

Led by Rev. Fr. Harlem Gozo, the celebration started with the blessing of the new fire and the lighting of the Paschal candle, symbolizing Christ’s light overcoming darkness and death.

As the Word of God was shared, everyone felt renewed hope. The baptismal water was blessed, and the faithful happily renewed their baptismal promises.

VIA MATRIS | The women of the laity of Mary Mediatrix of All Grace Parish – Ichon gathered in prayer for the Via Matris (Way of the Mother).

As we walked with our Blessed Mother through her Seven Sorrows, we were reminded of her strength, faith, and unwavering love.
