GRAND SOLEMN PROCESSION | Mantahan Patronal Fiesta Celebration 2026

Upon the solemn arrival of Sr. San Jose De La Muerte back at the chapel, the faithful reverently joined in praying the Litany of Saint Joseph in thanksgiving and devotion to the beloved patron.

Following the litany, the night sky was illuminated by a vibrant fireworks display, joyfully marking the culmination of the Grand Solemn Procession and the grace-filled celebration of the fiesta.

The beautifully adorned carroza of Sr. San Jose De La Muerte was reverently processed through the streets of Barangay Mantahan, accompanied by countless devotees, prayers, hymns, and expressions of deep faith and devotion.

As the beloved patron passed through the community, the faithful united in thanksgiving and prayer, honoring Sr. San Jose, the Patron of Happy Deaths.

GRAND SOLEMN PROCESSION | Mantahan Patronal Fiesta Celebration 2026

A great number of devotees and faithful gathered to participate in the annual Grand Solemn Procession in honor of Sr. San Jose De La Muerte, prayerfully accompanying the beloved patron through the streets of Mantahan in a public witness of faith and devotion.

As the Patron of Happy Deaths, Sr. San Jose continues to inspire the faithful to entrust their lives and final hour to God’s grace and mercy. One of the most solemn moments of the procession was the passage through the Maasin Cemetery, where prayers were offered for the departed faithful and for the hope of eternal life in Christ.

Beautifully adorned with flowers and accompanied by hymns and prayers, the procession became a meaningful expression of unity, thanksgiving, and enduring devotion.
