The Grade 11 St. Jude the Apostle students of Notre Dame of Maasim held their recollection at the Sta. Cruz Parish Functional Hall. During the session, Sir CJ Rabutan shared a meaningful discussion about the importance of hope in the lives of young people.

He explained that hope is not just wishing for good outcomes but a mindset that helps students face challenges with courage and determination. According to him, hope grows when students acknowledge their struggles, take steps to improve themselves, and continue moving forward despite difficulties. He emphasized that hope is strengthened when they support one another and stay focused on their goals.

Sir CJ’s message encouraged the learners to see hope as something practical and active, a guiding force that can help them navigate their studies, relationships, and personal growth.

The Grade 11 St. Thomas Aquinas students of Notre Dame of Maasim held their recollection at the Sta. Cruz Parish Functional Hall. During the session, Sir CJ Rabutan gave a meaningful explanation of what hope truly represents in the lives of young people.

Sir CJ clarified that hope is not simply a positive feeling or a passing thought. It is a choice that influences how students respond to challenges, failures, and uncertainties. He explained that hope grows when they acknowledge their struggles honestly and still decide to move forward with intention. According to him, hope becomes real through everyday actions such as trying again after a mistake, seeking help when needed, and believing that progress is possible even in small steps.

He also reminded the learners that hope strengthens when they support one another and stay connected to their values and personal goals. His message encouraged them to see hope as a practical guide that helps them remain steady, resilient, and purposeful.

This morning, Oct. 1, Notre Dame of Maasim, Inc., opened the observance of the Month of the Most Holy Rosary at the SPC Hall. Organized by the Campus Ministry Club, the rosary centered on the school’s dedication to the Blessed Virgin Mary and praying the rosary as a path for strength, direction and building solidarity.
