𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 (𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆)

Proclamation No. 727, Series of 2025, declaring February 25, 2025 (Tuesday) a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 in observance of the EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary.

A “special working holiday” means that while the day is recognized for its importance, it is a regular working day where government offices and businesses operate as usual. Employees are expected to report to work.

Due to the raising of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Nos. 1, 2 and 3 in most areas of Luzon in view of the persistent intense rainfall and strong winds brought about by Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine,” to further aid in the rescue, relief, and recovery efforts of the government, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are hereby suspended on 25 October 2024.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

In view of the inclement weather brought about by Tropical Storm “Kristine” affecting the whole country, particularly the Island of Luzon, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are hereby suspended on 23 October 2024.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮ñ𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘃'𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄

Due to severe flooding and harsh weather conditions, the Malacañang Palace suspended the government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital Region (NCR), Central Luzon (Region III), and CALABARZON (Region IV-A) for tomorrow, July 25.

As the super typhoon Carina continues to intensify the southwest monsoon or habagat, light to heavy rains and severe flooding still persist in many areas in the mainland Luzon.

According to Malacañang, the suspension of work in private offices was still under their discretion.

"The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads," the Malacañang announced.
