𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓

🎯 Today, the world shouts loud messages: “Be free! Do what you want! Your body is yours alone!” Social media, trends, and peer pressure push us to use our bodies for pleasure, pride, and personal gain. Many treat their bodies like toys to play with or tools to impress others. We see people hurting their bodies, spoiling their bodies, or shaming their bodies—all because they have forgotten WHO lives inside them and WHO owns them. But God’s Word changes everything: Our bodies are not ordinary—they are holy temples. We face a daily choice: Worldliness or Holiness?
To help us make the right choice, let us now look at three clear differences between living a worldly life and living a holy life.
📍𝗜. 𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 - 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝑹𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒗𝒔. 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕-𝑹𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒅
- We should understand who we belong to—either we rule ourselves, or God rules us.
❌ Worldly: “I control my body.” — Live by my own rules and desires.
✅ Holy: “God controls my body.” — I belong to God; I follow His will.
✅ Lesson: We are not our own masters; we were bought by God.
📍𝗜𝗜. 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘 - 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒗𝒔. 𝑮𝒐𝒅'𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆
-Since we belong to someone, we live for someone—worldliness lives only to please itself, but holiness lives to praise God.
❌ Worldly: “Use my body for fun.” — Live for comfort, fame, and personal happiness.
✅ Holy: “Use my body for glory.” — Live to honor God and serve others.
✅ Lesson: We are created to glorify God, not just please ourselves.
📍𝗜𝗜𝗜. 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 - 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒗𝒔. 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕-𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅
-How we treat our body shows how we respect our God—worldliness soils and stains the body, but holiness keeps it clean and sacred.
❌ Worldly: “Pollute my body with sin.” — Follow the crowd; accept bad habits as normal.
✅ Holy: “Purify my body for God.” — Keep clean, pure, and set apart because God lives here.
✅ Lesson: God calls us to be holy and different from the world.
We see clearly the difference:
❌ Worldly Body means:
Self-Ruled, Self-Pleasured, Self-Stained
→ This path leads to emptiness, regret, and distance from God.
✅ Holy Body means:
Spirit-Ruled, God-Praised, Spirit-Sanctified
→ This path leads to peace, joy, and God’s blessing.
Choose Body Holiness over Body Worldliness.
REMEMBER:
You are special.
You are sacred.
You are God’s own. 🙏
