Through the lens, we look back on the 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑽𝒊𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒚—from the Holy Mass and joyful procession, to the simple moments of offering our intentions and prayers.

A meaningful day of celebrating our faith together, making memories, and leaving our prayers in the hands of the Lord.

𝑩𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑨𝑵𝑮 𝑲𝑨𝑷𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑮 | 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Sa pangunguna ng 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚, sama-sama nating ipinagdiwang ang 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲.

Mula sa 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐚, sa 𝐩𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 kasama ang Mahal na Birhen, hanggang sa 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐠 𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, bawat sandali ay naging pagkakataon upang manalangin, magpasalamat, at muling ipaubaya sa Diyos ang mga bagay na matagal na nating dinadala sa ating mga puso.

May mga panalangin na binigkas, may mga panalanging tahimik lamang na inialay. May mga intensyon na isinulat sa papel at tuluyang ipinagkatiwala sa apoy, bitbit ang pag-asang sa tamang panahon, sasagutin din ng Panginoon.

At sa pagtatapos ng araw, isang bagay ang mananatili—ang pananampalatayang sama-sama nating ipinagdiriwang at ang mga panalanging buong puso nating inialay.

Narito ang Balitang Kapanalig, tampok ang mga kuwento at karanasan mula sa ating pagdiriwang ng Pista ng Mahal na Birhen.

Inihahandog ng Liceo de Luisiana Campus Youth Ministry ang Hermanos at Hermanas 2026, isang pagdiriwang na iniaalay sa Mahal na Birhen bilang pagpapakita ng ating pananampalataya, pagmamahal, at debosyon.

Highly exalted Mother, your assumption into heaven is a proof that God is inseparable from His grace. The Archangel told you that you are “full of grace,” and continues: “the Lord is with you.” It emphasizes thus that God, the only absolute and eternal Being, no longer wants to be without you, and that you are not without God. From this valley of tears, where we pilgrims are comforted by faith in the future resurrection, we look to you, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. Draw us with the softness of your voice, to show us one day, after this exile, Jesus, the blessed fruit of your womb. Before your majesty, I present the following intentions for your maternal care...

Most blessed among all women, my queen, and mother, your assumption into the highest heaven has deepened my faith. I have come to understand that it was necessary that the one who had kept her virginity unharmed in childbirth should also keep her body uncorrupted after death; it was necessary that the one who had carried the Creator in her womb as a child should dwell in the divine abodes; it was necessary that the one who had seen the Son on the cross, receiving in her heart that sword of pain from which she had been immune when giving birth to Him, should contemplate Him who is seated at the right hand of the Father. Highly favored mother, the closer you are to the Source of graces, the more you can reach us. In heaven, you discover our miseries better, so it is necessary that you have greater compassion in helping us. Make us your faithful servants on earth, that we may later bless you in paradise. As we celebrate the glory of your Assumption in the coming days, we want to consecrate ourselves to your service. From the exalted throne on which you reign, turn to us, O Mary, your pious eyes and have pity on us. Look at us and help us for we are surrounded by so many dangers and storms. Through the merits of your blessed Assumption, grant us holy perseverance in divine friendship, so that we may finally leave this life in the grace of God. O Immaculate Mother, the entire nature was altered by the original fall; and yet, you were not touched by sin by the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ. And so, the Church sings: You are all beautiful, Mary, and there is no stain of original sin in you. Mother most pure, may what happened to you bodily be fulfilled spiritually in the Church. We well know that we sinners are not worthy to possess you in this valley of tears. But we also know that in the midst of your greatness and humility, you cannot forget us and that, because you were raised to such glory, you did not lose your compassion for the poor children of Adam. Most beloved Mother, you agreed to give your whole person and life so that the mystery of God's love and power would become visible to men; as a result, God fulfilled the mystery of salvation in you and made it shine for the pilgrim people on earth, a sign of consolation and sure hope. May we, the disciples of your beloved Son, following your examples and intercessions, experience the destiny of grandeur and glory to which God has called each of us. Since your glorious feast has become a source of renewed strength for our lives, may you intercede with her Son so that the whole family of peoples may happily come together in one People of God, for the glory of the Most Holy Trinity.
