BUILDING THROUGH EVANGELISM
📖 Matthew 28:19–20

Today, we were reminded that the Church is built not only by gathering together, but by going out and sharing the Gospel.

Jesus commanded us to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Evangelism is not merely a program—it is our calling as followers of Christ.

Every conversation, every visit, every invitation, and every testimony can be used by God to reach a soul.

We build by reaching.
We grow by discipling.
We serve by sharing Christ.

May we continue to be a church that does not only come to church, but also go for Christ.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”
— Matthew 28:19

To God be all the glory!

Lucena City Church of Christ (Landing)

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” — Mark 16:15

MORNING — HOUSE-TO-HOUSE EVANGELISM
Our second day began with a simple but meaningful mission: to go out, visit people, build relationships, and share the Gospel.

The weather was a little rainy, but the rain did not stop us from going out. The mission continued because people still needed to hear the message of hope found in Christ.

Three of us went house-to-house:
• Ptr. Glenn Estopace
• Ptr. Rodel Isleta
• Ptr. Rudy Lavega Jr.

We went around the community surrounding the church and visited some of the recipients we had met during the previous day’s Dental and Optical Mission.

But something beautiful happened.
One of the recipients who had been reached during the mission voluntarily joined us and brought us to her neighbors who were also recipients.

He became our “tour guide” in the community—introducing us to his neighbors, helping us connect with them, and opening doors for us to share the Gospel.
What started as a simple house-to-house visit became a beautiful picture of how one person who was reached can also become a bridge to reach others.

We were able to:
>Share the Word of God
>Pray with the families
>Listen to their stories and build relationships
>Reconnect with the recipients of the mission
>Invite them to the upcoming QCCPCI Provincial Convention on August 22
The rain may have slowed our steps, but it did not stop the Gospel from moving forward.

AFTERNOON — CHILDREN’S MINISTRY & COMMUNITY OUTREACH
In the afternoon, we returned to the community where our Children’s Ministry had been taking place.

We continued reaching out to the children and their families while also taking the opportunity to invite them to the upcoming Provincial Convention on August 22.

We personally spoke with their parents and asked permission regarding the participation of the children. We also took time to reconnect and talk with some of the recipients we had met during our previous activities.
It was another opportunity to listen, encourage, pray, and share the love of Christ.

MORE THAN JUST A 2-DAY EVENT
As we look back on these two days, we realize that this evangelism was never just about dental services, optical check-ups, children's activities, or house-to-house visits.
These were simply doors that God opened for us to meet people.
Behind every patient was a person.
Behind every recipient was a family.
Behind every house was a story.
And behind every story was a soul that needs to hear about Jesus.
Our prayer is that the relationships we started during these two days will continue—and that the seeds of the Gospel planted in the hearts of these families will grow and bear fruit.
We came to serve, love, share, pray and bring people to Christ.

Two days of evangelism.
Many doors opened.
Many lives touched.
One Gospel.
One Savior.
All for the glory of God.
To God be all the glory!

2-DAY EVANGELISM | LUCENA CITY CHURCH OF CHRIST (LANDING)

August 6, 2026 — Day 1
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” — Matthew 9:37

What a blessed and meaningful first day of our 2-Day Evangelism here at Lucena City Church of Christ (Landing)!

Our Day 1 was filled with opportunities to serve, share God’s love, and reach people not only through practical acts of kindness but also through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

MORNING — DENTAL & OPTICAL MISSION
The morning started with songs of praise and prayer, followed by the sharing of God’s Word through Ptr. Jerico “Lolopaz,” who shared about the love of God and His salvation.
After the message, the doctors gave an orientation so that our recipients could properly understand the procedures and what to expect.
Then the Dental and Optical Mission officially began!

DENTAL MISSION
50 patients were served
44 patients underwent tooth extraction
Many recipients were especially grateful because some had more than one tooth extracted, while others had three teeth extracted in one visit.
The dental team was led by Dr. JB Calamigan, Chairman of QCCPCI, together with his fellow physician and friend, Dr. Julius Oliveros, with the assistance of Dr. Oliveros’ daughter.

OPTICAL MISSION
35 out of 35 recipients were successfully reached and examined.
They are assured to receive their free prescription eyeglasses after their eye examination.
Our optical team was composed of: Dr. El Josue Malubay, Dr. Socrates Calamigan, and Dra. Myrna Mayo.
After their check-up and dental procedures, the recipients were provided with snacks, followed by personal counselling with our pastors.
Because our mission is not only about meeting physical needs—it is also about leading people to know the One who can save and transform their lives.

AFTERNOON — EVANGELISTIC TEAM & CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
In the afternoon, the Evangelistic Team of QPWI, led by Ptr. Glenn Estopace, went out into the community to share the Word of God.
The team was composed of:
• Ptr. Glenn Estopace
• Ptr. Jonathan Carpena
• Ptr. Rodel Isleta
• Bro. Lucky Calamigan
• Ptr. Rudy Lavega Jr.
• And two young people from Lucena City Church of Christ who joined the outreach.

At the same time, our Children’s Ministry continued in the community under the leadership of Sis. Joyce Lavega.
While Sis. Joyce was teaching the children, the Evangelistic Team went from house to house and visited the recipients of the morning’s mission. The purpose was not only to share the Gospel but also to build relationships, know their families, listen to their stories, and reach more people with the message of Christ.
What happened on this day reminded us that evangelism is more than an event. It is a ministry of presence, compassion, relationship, and proclamation.
🦷 We served their physical needs.
👓 We helped improve their vision.
🍞 We provided food and fellowship.
❤️ We showed them the love of Christ.
📖 And most importantly, we shared the Gospel.

Our prayer is that every person we met will not only remember the service they received, but will ultimately come to know Jesus Christ—the source of true hope, healing, and salvation.
To God be all the glory!

Thank you to all our doctors, pastors, volunteers, young people, children’s ministry workers, and everyone who gave their time, resources, prayers, and love to make this ministry possible.
One day. One community. Many lives touched.
All for the glory of God

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP | AN EXTENSION OF OUR 1-WEEK EVANGELISM IN LUCENA CITY
Lucena City Church of Christ (Landing)

What a blessed evening of fellowship, worship, and hearing God’s Word!

Tonight, we gathered young people from our community for a special Youth Fellowship, as an extension program of the 1-Week Evangelism of Quezon Churches of Christ Provincial Convention, Inc. (QCCPCI) here in Lucena City.

We were especially blessed to welcome young people from the community, including some of the recipients of our recent Dental and Optical Mission.

More than meeting physical needs, our desire is to reach their hearts and introduce them to the greatest gift of all—Jesus Christ and His saving grace.

Special thanks to our guest speaker, Ptr. Glenn Estopace, Chairman of the Quezon Pastors and Workers, Inc. (QPWI) and Chairperson of the Evangelistic Team of QCCPCI, for sharing God’s Word and encouraging our young people to know Christ, grow in faith, and live a life committed to Him.

We believe that every young person is precious to God and has a purpose in His kingdom.
From meeting physical needs to reaching hearts with the Gospel—this is evangelism in action!
May the seeds planted tonight grow into lives transformed by Christ.

To God be all the glory!
