"Accepting the Unacceptiable"

SERMON:
Habakuk 3:16-19 MBB
16 Narinig kong lahat ito at ako'y nanginig;
nangatal ang aking mga labi dahil sa takot.
Nanghina ang aking katawan,
at ako'y nalugmok.
Tahimik kong hihintayin ang takdang panahon
ng pagpaparusa ng Diyos sa mga umapi sa amin.
17 Bagama't di namumunga ang puno ng igos
at hindi rin namumunga ang mga ubas,
kahit na maantala ang pamumunga ng olibo
at walang anihin sa mga bukirin,
kahit na mamatay lahat ang mga tupa
at mawala ang mga baka sa kulungan,
18 magagalak pa rin ako at magsasaya,
dahil si Yahweh ang Diyos na magliligtas sa akin.
19 Ang Panginoong Yahweh ang sa aki'y nagpapalakas.
Tulad ng usa, tiyak ang aking mga hakbang,
inaalalayan niya ako sa mga kabundukan.

NOTES and REFLECTION:

*Habakuk is a prophet of God, during the time of injustice, uncertainty and captivity of Israel from Babylon.

" Usually A prophet is not present in times of peace but during war or conflicts"

*During this time Israel was experiencing violence and suffering and Habakuk was making a plea to God.And he was saying why is God still and letting these things happen to.the chosen people.
(see HAB 1:2-4)

*God allowed these things to happen especially if its bad or worse. BUT God has more big things on his sleeve. God knows what he was doing during these times.
God was teaching the people of Israel. But that doesnt mean he was deaf to their plea. YES God allows these bad experience but not to harm US. There is a certain purpose for this. It may look bad and like we have been cursed but God has planned these all out.

1."GOD wants US to come to HIM all the time especailly during times of troubles in our life."
2. "Habakuk ACCEPT the unacceptable after all and praised HIM "
3. "If we will call.unto God and LISTEN to his plans first then we will be save from all our worries and overthinking."
4."Gods TIMING is always PERFECT. Lets us WAIT for the right time."
