Ngayong Miyerkules, naging bahagi ang SmileKoop ng Parents' Formation Class ng Sr. Teresa of Sto. Niño Center, Inc. upang ibahagi ang kahalagahan ng maagang pag-iipon para sa aming mga benepisyaryo.

Ibinahagi ni Mr. Christopher De Castro na ang pag-iipon ay hindi lamang tungkol sa paglalaan ng pera—ito ay pagtuturo ng disiplina, responsibilidad, at pagbuo ng pangarap para sa mas magandang kinabukasan ng ating mga anak.

Sa pamamagitan ng SmileKoop para sa mga kabataan, maaaring magsimulang mag-ipon ang mga batang edad 5 taong gulang hanggang 17 sa pamamagitan ng simpleng lingguhang hulog. Dahil ang bawat pisong naiipon ngayon ay isang hakbang patungo sa mas matatag at mas maliwanag na bukas.

Simulan ang magandang ugali ng pag-iipon habang bata pa. Sama-sama nating ihanda ang kinabukasan ng bawat bata!

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon ngayong Hulyo, nagsama-sama ang mga munting mag-aaral ng preschool, kanilang mga magulang, at mga volunteer teachers ng Sr. Teresa of Sto. Niño Center, Inc. upang ipagdiwang ang Nutrition Month na may temang "𝘕𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯, 𝘈𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘢𝘯!"

Bilang panauhing tagapagsalita, ibinahagi ni Teacher Nelia Hernandez ang mahahalagang kaalaman tungkol sa wastong nutrisyon at tamang pagkain para sa mga bata. Tinalakay niya ang kahalagahan ng Go, Grow, at Glow Foods sa pagpapanatili ng mabuting kalusugan, gayundin ang papel ng bawat isa sa pangangalaga sa ating kapaligiran upang maisulong ang isang mas malusog at mas ligtas na kinabukasan.

Bilang bahagi ng programa, binigyang-parangal ang mga batang nagpakita ng kasipagan at pagkamalikhain sa pagsusuot ng kanilang mga kasuotan para sa selebrasyon, gayundin ang mga lumahok at nagpamalas ng kanilang talento sa pagkukulay.

Nagbigay rin ng makukulay at masisiglang pagtatanghal ang bawat klase sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga sayaw, na lalong nagpasaya sa pagdiriwang at nagpakita ng kanilang sigla, talento, at pagtutulungan.

Lubos din ang aming pasasalamat kay Ms. Mela at sa A's Homemade sa kanilang mapagbigay na puso sa masasarap at masustansyang banana cookies para sa aming mga munting mag-aaral.

Isang matagumpay at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ang isinagawa na nagpaalala sa lahat ng kahalagahan ng wastong nutrisyon at pangangalaga sa kalikasan bilang pundasyon ng isang malusog at masayang pamayanan.

𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲) | 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬' 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬

In celebration of the 48𝙩𝙝 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠, our Parents' Formation Class was blessed to welcome Ms. Adeluisa "Tita Adel" Martinez as our guest speaker.

With this year's theme, "Rights First, Legislation Forward: Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development," Tita Adel shared valuable insights on the importance of recognizing, protecting, and promoting the rights of children and persons with disabilities. She reminded us that every individual deserves equal dignity, respect, opportunities, and inclusion in all aspects of society.

Parents gained a deeper understanding of various disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, hearing and visual impairments, physical disabilities, and psychosocial disabilities. She also discussed practical and compassionate strategies for understanding children's behavior, emphasizing that behavior is a form of communication and that consistency, patience, and positive guidance are essential in helping children thrive.

The session also highlighted the Magna Carta for Persons with Disabilities (Republic Act No. 7277) and its amendments, which uphold the rights of persons with disabilities to education, healthcare, rehabilitation, accessibility, protection, equal opportunities, and full participation in society. Parents were likewise informed about the benefits and services available to PWDs, including the PWD ID, discounts, priority lanes, educational and medical assistance, livelihood programs, and assistive devices.

The learning session concluded with an interactive activity, "Karapatan o Hindi?", where parents identified situations that either upheld or violated the rights of children with disabilities. The activity encouraged meaningful reflection and strengthened everyone's commitment to becoming more informed advocates, compassionate caregivers, and partners in building an inclusive community where every child is valued and empowered.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Tita Adel for sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion with our parents. Together, let us continue to create a community where every child is respected, included, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

United in faith and thanksgiving, the Sr. Teresa of Sto. Niño Center family—our staff, volunteers, scholars, beneficiaries, neighbors, families, friends, and the CMT Sisters—gathered as one community to honor our Blessed Mother and rejoice in this meaningful celebration.

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, we came together to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel through the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Rev. Fr. Bienvenido G. Lozano, with Rev. Fr. Roy Cal and Rev. Fr. George Vargas as co-celebrants.

In his homily, Fr. Bien reminded us that every Marian celebration is an invitation to listen to the loving call of our Blessed Mother, a call to be united in God's love and embrace.

He emphasized that love is what binds us together. As one Church, we are called to live in unity by sharing God's love, allowing us to understand, forgive, and embrace one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Fr. Bien also reminded us that Mary is not the source of peace, but the guide to peace, for she always leads us back to her Son, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. Through her life of humility, faith, and obedience, Mary continues to be a perfect example of discipleship, showing us the way to Christ.

The celebration concluded with a salu-salo dinner, where everyone who stayed shared a meal together in a spirit of fellowship, gratitude, and joy. It was a beautiful opportunity to strengthen our bonds as one community under the loving guidance of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

May our devotion to Our Lady of Mount Carmel always deepen our relationship with Jesus and inspire us to become instruments of His love, unity, and peace in our families, our communities, and our nation.

On the final day of our Triduum Mass in preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we gathered once again as one community to honor our Blessed Mother and reflect on her inspiring witness of faith.

In his homily, Fr. Vrux reflected on the Gospel account of the Wedding at Cana, where Jesus performed His first public miracle through the intercession of Mary. When Mary noticed that the wedding hosts had no more wine, she simply told Jesus, "They have no wine." Though His hour had not yet come, Jesus responded to His Mother's loving concern by turning water into the finest wine, a beautiful sign of God's abundant grace and the joy of salvation.

More importantly, Fr. Vrux reminded us that while Mary is the Mother of Jesus, she is also His first disciple. Her words to the servants, "Do whatever He tells you," reveal the heart of a true disciple, one who listens to Christ, trusts Him completely, and leads others to Him rather than to herself.

As Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Mary continues to guide us on our journey of faith, teaching us to clothe ourselves with humility, prayer, and unwavering trust in God. Like her, may we become faithful disciples who point others to Jesus and confidently follow His will in every aspect of our lives.

Today, we celebrate with grateful hearts the Solemnity of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, our beloved Mother who continually leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

As we reflect on this year's theme, "𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖: 𝘽𝙪𝙠𝙡𝙤𝙙 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣, 𝘿𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙣" we are reminded that Mary gathers us as one family in faith. Through her gentle love and unwavering trust in God, she teaches us to build bridges of understanding, strengthen the bonds of our communities, and become instruments of Christ's peace wherever we are.

May her maternal mantle shelter our families, comfort those who are burdened, and inspire us to live with compassion, unity, and hope. Following her example, may we become a people who foster reconciliation, extend kindness to one another, and walk together on the path that leads to lasting peace.

On the second day of our Triduum Masses in preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we once again gathered as one community to honor our Blessed Mother and reflect on her inspiring witness of faith.

In his homily, Fr. George reminded us that love is not truly love until it becomes sacrifice. Mary lived this truth with her wholehearted "yes" to God's call. She embraced His plan not for her own benefit, but out of complete trust and love. She served not for personal interest or gain, but for God and for others. She gave of herself, not because it was easy, but because it was necessary.

Mary's life teaches us that genuine love is selfless. It is expressed through humble service, faithful obedience, and a willingness to sacrifice for the good of others. As disciples of Christ, we are invited to imitate her example by loving generously, serving sincerely, and placing God's will above our own.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary inspire us to live a life of sacrificial love, always leading us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

We begin the Triduum Masses for the Feast Day Celebration of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we joyfully gather to honor our loving Mother and Queen this 13th of July.

In his homily, Fr. Stan reflected on how Mary leads us to Christ and reveals the meaning of this year’s theme: Mary as the bond that unites us and the path that guides us toward peace. Mary’s life is centered on Jesus. All her mysteries point to Christ, and she always invites us to follow His will. Her faithful “yes” teaches us to listen, obey, and trust God, becoming instruments of His love and peace.

Christ is the true bond that unites us. Through prayer, the Sacraments, and love for one another, we strengthen our connection with God and with our community. Mary reminds us that true peace begins in a heart rooted in Christ, a heart filled with faith, forgiveness, and trust.

May Our Lady of Mount Carmel continue to lead us closer to Jesus, the source of our unity and peace.

Bilang pasasalamat sa mga tatay na nagpakita ng aktibong pakikiisa at suporta sa mga programa ng Center nitong natapos na taong pannuruan 2025-2026, nagsagawa ng isang pilgrimage visit kasama sina Sr. Sharon, Mam Babes, at ang mga tatay noong nakaraang linggo, July 12.

Bumisita sila sa **Parish and International Shrine of St. Padre Pio** sa Santo Tomas, Batangas, kung saan nagkaroon sila ng pagkakataong manalangin, magnilay, at magpasalamat sa mga biyayang natatanggap.

Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang paglalakbay na ito upang patuloy na lumago ang pananampalataya, pagkakaisa, at paglilingkod ng bawat isa.
