Meet Our Newly Appointed Youth Pastor

With grateful hearts, we are pleased to introduce Jenipher Labayoga as the newly appointed Youth Pastor of Holy Light Church of the Nazarene – Lucena.

We thank God for His faithfulness in raising leaders with a heart for serving the next generation. As Pastor Jenipher begins this new chapter of ministry, let us continue to support her through our prayers, encouragement, and partnership as she leads our youth to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.

May God grant her wisdom, strength, and abundant grace as she faithfully serves His kingdom.

We're grateful to God as we celebrate 8 weeks of gathering at our Mission Point in Riverside, Lucena City. What began as a mission outreach is, by God's grace, soon becoming our first satellite church in Lucena City.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, served, and supported this work. We give all the glory to God for His faithfulness. May this church continue to be a place where lives are transformed, disciples are made, and Christ is exalted.

Bible Trivia: Prophet Jeremiah

Did you know these amazing facts about Jeremiah, often called the Weeping Prophet?

🔹 God called him while he was still young (Jeremiah 1:4–10).
🔹 He never married because God had a special mission for him (Jeremiah 16:1–4).
🔹 He faithfully preached God's message for about 40 years, even though many people rejected him.
🔹 He was beaten, imprisoned, and thrown into a muddy cistern, yet he remained faithful (Jeremiah 38).
🔹 His scribe, Baruch, wrote down his prophecies. When the king burned the scroll, Jeremiah dictated God's message again (Jeremiah 36).
🔹 Jeremiah foretold the New Covenant, where God would write His law on people's hearts (Jeremiah 31:31–34).

Lesson: Jeremiah teaches us that true faithfulness means obeying God even when it is difficult or unpopular.

Congratulations to Bro. Wilfredo Labayoga Jr. on being granted a Local Pastor's License. We praise God for His faithful calling upon your life and rejoice in this significant milestone in your ministry.
