📖 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances.”

But how can we do these things when we’re going through pain and challenges? Mahirap talaga kapag tayo lang mag-isa—but let us always remember that the Lord is with us.

So what should we do?

✨ Rejoice always
Even when we are suffering, we choose to rejoice. Because when we reach rock bottom, that’s when we realize that God is a great God—worthy of our trust and able to help us.

🙏 Pray continually
Never stop praying in both good and bad times. Prayer is our act of surrender—allowing God to take over and move wondrously in our lives.

💖 Give thanks in all circumstances
Whether in small or big things, in sad or happy moments, we give thanks to the Lord. Everything happens for a reason, and we are called to trust Him through and through.

Jehovah Shammah — The Lord Is There

Jehovah (YHWH) — the personal covenant name of God, “I AM that I AM.”
Shammah — There. God is present. Always.

The opposite is Ichabod—the absence of God’s presence brought by sin and neglect, leading to fear, despair, and judgment.
But Jehovah Shammah speaks of presence, repentance, restoration, and hope—comfort that brings renewal. ✨

Personal Application:

🤍 God’s Presence in Us
📖 Psalm 46:1 — God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Like a loving Father guiding His child, the Lord is always there—especially in hard times.

🕯️ Comfort in Trials
📖 Psalm 23:4 — Even in the valley, His presence removes fear.
Jesus is the Light that guides us through darkness.
God’s presence is like a flashlight—comforting, guiding, and leading us forward.
Trials are not a sign of weakness, but a sign of blessing.

🌿 Restoration and Renewal
📖 Jeremiah 30:17 — God restores and renews what is broken.
As we journey through 2026, we need Jehovah Shammah—the glory that returns, bringing healing, hope, and renewed fellowship with Him.

🛡️ Under God’s Protection
📖 Psalm 46:7 — The Lord of Hosts is with us; God is our stronghold.
He commands heaven’s armies and stands as our secure refuge.

“When your heart is broken, He is near.
When your strength is gone, He is near.
When you feel forgotten, He is near.”

✨ You are not alone.
You are not abandoned.
You are not unseen.
Jehovah Shammah—the Lord is near.
