Philippians 4:4

Paano natin mapapanatili ang magalak sa gitna ng pagsubok na pinagdadaanan natin?
1. Remembering - alalahanin natin ang unang pag-ibig mo sa Panginoon.
2. Prayer - magbigay tayo ng oras para magkaroon ng komunikasyon sa Panginoon.
3. Keeping - panghawakan natin ang pangako ng Diyos sa buhay natin.
4. Focusing - ituon natin ang paningin natin sa Panginoon.
5. Worshiping - purihin natin ang Panginoon sa lahat ng bagay na pinagdadaanan natin.

Palagi tayong magalak sa mga pinapagawa ng Panginoon sa atin.

Reasons Why We Choose to Rejoice

1. We have a purpose.
Rejoicing is not the absence of sadness. Maaaring makaramdam tayo ng sakit at lungkot, but it’s still possible that during the process, there is rejoicing.

2. It strengthens us.
Kahit mahirap, hindi tayo sumusuko. When you’re rejoicing, you don’t stop.

3. To work out our faith.
By choosing to rejoice, we are trusting the Lord
despite everything.

We can rejoice because we are holding on to a faithful God.

Sa lahat ng sulat niya tungkol sa paksang ito, ganito ang lagi niyang paalala. Kaya lang, ang ilang bahagi sa kanyang mga sulat ay mahirap unawain, at binibigyan ng maling kahulugan ng mga mangmang at magugulΓ³ ang pag-iisip. Ganyan din ang kanilang ginagawa sa ibang mga Kasulatan, kaya nga't ipinapahamak nila ang kanilang sarili.

a. God delights in your happiness
Ang tunay na nananampalataya kay Jesus, ay ang mga taong iniisip din ang kasiyahan ng Panginoon.
God delights in our happiness if we obey His will.

b. God wants you to be happy
But sometimes kung ano ang nagpapasaya sa puso natin, ay syang nagpapalungkot sa Panginoon

Paano masusukat ang katapatan natin sa Diyos kapag may malaking opportunity na dumating?

Hagar's Story

1. Hagar has NO NAME yet God called her by her name.

β–  When God calls you by your name, you are significant.

2. She has NO VOICE yet God put a word in her mouth.

β–  When God put a word in you, it is a word of power.

3. She has NO DIRECTION but God directed her.

β–  When God directs you, it surely is a way to His will.
β–  Even though we are faithless, God remains faithful.

4. She has NO ONE yet God increases her descendants.

β–  God is the one who can fulfill us.

β–  In the dessert, Hagar found more than a spring because she has found the one who can quench her thirst-- the LIVING WATER.

Yes, we can say that we are chasing the Lord, we can even call ourselves as God-chasers but more than us chasing Him, the Lord is chasing us too and we can meet Him halfway.

"If you have God on your side, nothing will be against you. "
