As a nation celebrating and commemorating our independence today, let us lift our hearts in prayer for our country and people. But, indeed, the best way to celebrate our freedom is to remember the finished work of Jesus on the cross, because He is the Author of the ultimate freedom we must all experience.

A blessed Independence Day! We declare today that Jesus is Lord of the Philippines!
