After a week of spiritual growth and lasting memories, our FSY participants were warmly welcomed today by their families and fellow ward members.

We are grateful for the lessons they learned, the friendships they built, and the experiences they gained. We can't wait to hear about their testimonies and see them continue to walk with Him!

Today we celebrate the Savior’s victory over death and the hope He gives each of us. Grateful to gather, worship, and rejoice together as one family in Los Baños Ward.

Because of Jesus Christ, darkness does not have the final say; there is always light and always a way forward.

As we begin the Holy Week, we remember the moment Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem and was welcomed with praises of “𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚”, a cry that means save us.

On March 14, A total of 28 Young Men and Young Women of Los Baños Ward embarked on a meaningful journey to the 𝑨𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 for their 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑻𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒑. It was a special milestone, as it marked their first time performing proxy baptisms in the newly opened temple.

Throughout the day, the youth participated in 𝟓𝟑 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟔𝟕 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, serving as instruments in helping their ancestors receive sacred ordinances.

As taught in 𝑫𝒐𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆 & 𝑪𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 128:15, "𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕—𝒏𝒆𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕." This truth was felt deeply as the youth took part in bridging generations through faith and service.

There was a peace that settled gently in every heart, a comfort that eased the mind, and a strong assurance that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there for them. Alongside the happiness and laughter was a deeper kind of joy—the kind that comes from knowing they were able to help their ancestors and be part of something eternal.

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, may His peace rest in your homes, His joy fill your hearts, and His light guide your steps. On December 8, 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎𝟎+ 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 of the Los Baños Ward came together for a special and memorable visit to the Alabang Philippines Temple. Children held their parents’ hands, members walked alongside friends, and families shared meaningful moments in the serene and sacred atmosphere of the temple. The day was filled with inspiration and a sense of peace that touched the hearts of everyone.

Alabang Philippines Temple is considered the House of the Lord, a sacred place where members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints make covenants and draw closer to God.
