𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆

We celebrate Pentecost Sunday, the glorious day when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, filling them with courage, wisdom, and zeal to proclaim the Gospel to all nations. This feast marks the birth of the Church, as the disciples, once fearful and uncertain, were transformed by the power of the Spirit into bold witnesses of Christ.

The Holy Spirit calls each of us to deepen our relationship with God and to become instruments of peace, unity, and truth in the world. Through His grace, we are empowered to live with courage, to persevere in faith, and to share the Good News through our words and actions.

As we celebrate this sacred feast, may our hearts be open to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to renew our lives and lead us ever closer to Christ.

𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗮

We honor the Memorial of Saint Rita of Cascia, Religious, a woman of profound faith, perseverance, and trust in God amid life’s deepest trials. Known as the “Saint of the Impossible,” she endured a difficult marriage, the loss of her husband and sons, and years of suffering, yet responded with forgiveness, patience, and unwavering love.

Saint Rita’s life teaches us that holiness is not found in the absence of hardship, but in embracing suffering with Christ. Through prayer and sacrifice, she became a model of reconciliation and peace, transforming pain into a path toward grace. Even in the face of injustice and sorrow, she chose mercy, reflecting the heart of Christ in her daily life.

On this day, many Catholics seek her intercession for impossible or desperate situations, trusting in her powerful prayers before God. Her witness calls us to remain steadfast in faith, to forgive wholeheartedly, and to place our hope in God’s providence, even when the way seems uncertain.

🌹🌹🌹

We offer this simple rose through the intercession of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, a small gesture of gratitude and prayer for your life and ministry.

We thank God for your life and for your leadership over the Diocese of San Pablo.

In the way you guide the Church, there is always that gentle call to go beyond what is comfortable, encouraging us to go where faith is not always easy, to remain present in places that require courage, patience, and compassion. Like wading through floodwaters, you remind us that discipleship is not meant to stay safe or distant, but to enter into the realities of people’s lives and walk with them, even when the path is heavy or uncertain.

This same spirit feels close to the simplicity of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, that holiness is lived in small, faithful acts of love, offered daily without recognition, yet deeply transformative. It is the kind of love that stays, serves, and points others back to Christ.
