The delegates of Liceo de Los Baños actively participated in the LACASA Youth Festival, held last February 20 at Holy Spirit School of Biñan, with the inspiring theme: 𝑮𝒆𝒏-𝑯𝑶𝑷𝑬: 𝒎𝒂𝑳𝑨𝑪𝑨𝑺 𝑨𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒈-𝒂𝒔𝒂!
The celebration began with a Eucharistic Celebration, grounding the youth in prayer and thanksgiving as they entrusted the day’s activities to the Lord. Centered on faith, the participants were reminded that authentic hope is rooted in Christ and expressed through action.
An inspirational talk followed, courageously presenting the inconvenient truths faced by today’s generation. The session challenged the youth to confront present realities with resilience, integrity, and moral responsibility—encouraging them to become proactive agents of positive change in their schools, communities, and the Church.
In the afternoon, delegates were grouped into small circles composed of representatives from various LACASA schools. Through guided discussions, they reflected deeply on the plenary message, shared personal insights, and built meaningful connections. The exchange of perspectives strengthened unity and highlighted the power of collective hope.
The festival concluded with vibrant talent presentations from the LACASA Youth, showcasing creativity, confidence, and God-given gifts. The energy and enthusiasm displayed were living testimonies that the youth are indeed strong bearers of hope.
We proudly acknowledge that one of the organizers of the festival was our 𝑪𝒀𝑴 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝑨𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒅𝒐 𝑱𝒓., 𝑳𝑨𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑨 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑳𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒐 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒔. Representing Liceo de Los Baños were our Campus Ministry Officers, accompanied by Mr. John Emmanuel L. Ebora, LDLB Campus Ministry and LACASA Adviser.
Truly, the LACASA Youth Festival was a meaningful platform for spiritual enrichment, personal reflection, and community building—reaffirming that the youth, when grounded in faith and united in purpose, are maLACAS and full of hope.
