[Part 2 of 2]
PBBC-LIPA’S 8TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
10 Sept 2023 | Sun | 8:30am-4:00pm

✅ VICTORY IN JESUS

It’s been 8 years since we’ve been organized as a local, independent church! But this year's celebration is extra special and victorious all because of God’s grace.

Our auditorium was overflowing with guests (first time and regular visitors, soul winning prospects), newly baptized members, and solid church members who never failed to exert their relentless support since Day 1.

Our tables were filled with several sumptuous meals that we feasted on together without fail (may sharon pa!).

Moreover, we are thankful for we have been graced once more by our Senior Pastor Jun Tan as He preached the Word of God during the AM service. He encouraged us to be a crew (God's servants) in the ship (church and the Lord's vineyard), and not just as mere passengers (church goers). By serving as the former, we must be tireless in pointing the lost to Christ. But we can only do so if we bear the same mind as Jesus Christ (Phil. 2:5, KJV 1611).

During the PM service, our very own Ptr. Ren delivered the same encouragement, but with the core messaging to have the same heart as Jesus Christ, so that we can always be a blessing as w render our heart and service for the Lord’s ministries (Col. 3:23, KJV 1611).

✅ A LITTLE TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE

Looking back, we have experienced a lot of dips and bumps as individuals, families, and as a Church. The sun wasn’t always shining and we are often caught in the storms of life — but our only hope is in the Lord. We trust that our continuous prayer and steadfast faith will always carry us through until He calls us home.

That is why we praise and thank God for the victory, for having our spiritual leader, Ptr. Ren Mercado, and his wife, Ma’am Armie Tan-Mercado, for fervently leading the Church towards the path of spiritual growth and maturity. Their heart and perseverance for the ministry has blossomed into, albeit an imperfect, but Bible-believing and God-fearing Church. A lot has still to be done for the Lord’s ministries but we’re blessed that we have grown to be a soul-winning and mission-supporting Church.

To God only be the glory!

[Part 1 of 2]
PBBC-LIPA'S 3RD WORLD MISSION EMPHASIS CONFERENCE
2 Sept 2023 | Sat | 9am-2pm

This year's theme is: "The Value of Solid Partnership" (Amos 3:3, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, KJV 1611).

It's only by God's amazing and saving grace that we're able to support local and foreign missions for the furtherance of the Gospel 🙏 (Matt. 28:18-20, KJV 1611)

We are elated to have been graced by our fellowshipping pastors to celebrate this with us, and to Ptr. Manuel M. Abania for serving as our guest speaker to challenge us in sacrificial giving following Hannah's story and offering of her son, Samuel, to God by faith, and not by sight (1 Sam. 1-2, KJV 1611).

To God be the highest glory and praise!

Praise God for holidays and long weekends!

We just had a successful with the PBBC-San Pedro (Main Church)'s YP held last Aug 28. What a reunion! 🤸‍♀️🤾‍♂️⛹️‍♂️

We were pressed for time but we made sure that it would be nothing short of ✨amazing✨.

1. We started the day with a spiritual warm-up led by Pr. Tristan, then physical warm-up by Ralph & Bro. Shadrack.

2. After a few pleasantries, we proceeded with our ball games!
- The 'GIANT VOLLEYBALL' was a great way to kickstart everyone's wit, strategy, and teamwork. How to transfer the ball from your court to your opponent's within 5 seconds?! 🤯
- We took our time adjusting when we finally played 'MIXED VOLLEYBALL.' Hiya pa eh. But when the energy's finally amplified, we couldn't stop the guys and gals from playing hardcore! 💪
- Last stop: 'BASKETBALL.' Of course. It was so obvious. We wouldn't let the day pass without having the guys play chest-to-chest with the Pinoys' ever favorite court game. 🏀

3. Lunch! Finally, the SP peeps were able to have a taste of Lipa's finest lomi. 🍜

4. Those who didn't play ball games also had their time mingling with the other church groups. Some played badminton and volleyball at the side, whilst others entertained themselves with Organ Attack, a friendly card game; and gushed about the Japanese international men volleyball players (i.e. Yuki Ishikawa, Ran Takahashi, and more!!) 🤭

It was only until 3PM that San Pedro had to call it a day. Everyone had a hard and long time saying good bye but glad we capped it off with ~several~ group hugs, photos, and Gen Z selfies!

Thanks guys! We definitely had a blast. Until next time!
