Day 6 of the Novena in Honor of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina 🙏✨

Today’s theme: “Paggunita kay San Francisco Maria ng mga Frayle ng Capuchino sa Camporosso.” A Capuchin friar remembered for his life of prayer, penance, and charity, San Francisco Maria reminds us that holiness is lived through simplicity, service, and faithfulness to God’s call.

The Holy Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Reynald B. Atienza, from the Cathedral Parish of Saint Paul the Hermit and Spiritual Director of the Diocesan Youth Commission, Diocese of San Pablo, concelebrated with Rev. Fr. Franz M. Atienza, OFMCap.

As we journey deeper into the novena, may we be inspired by San Francisco Maria’s example of humility and Padre Pio’s enduring witness of prayer and sacrifice—offering everything for the love of Christ and for the salvation of souls. 💒❤️

Day 5 of the Novena in Honor of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina 🙏✨

Today’s theme: “Paggunita kay San Jose Cupertino, OFM Conventual, Pari.” We remember this humble saint known for his simplicity, obedience, and deep union with God, whose life reminds us that holiness is found in humility and trust in the Lord.

The Holy Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Angel Marcelo M. Pastor, Parish Priest and Rector of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Batangas City, concelebrated with Rev. Fr. Franz M. Atienza, OFMCap.

May the example of San Jose Cupertino, together with the life and intercession of Padre Pio, inspire us to live with simplicity of heart, humble faith, and joyful service to God. 💒❤️

In the wake of Typhoon Pepito, the Franciscan Youth Movement (FYM) stands in unity with those affected, extending our prayers and support. We are grateful to everyone who has joined us in this mission to help rebuild lives and provide hope during this difficult time.

On behalf of the FYM, we would like to express our deep appreciation to Jelmar Balubar, a member of our Caramoan community, who has been at the forefront of distributing relief goods in the coastal areas. His dedication to serving the affected families has made a tremendous impact, ensuring that food and other essential supplies reached those in need.

Together, with the support of our friends and donors, we continue to reflect the Franciscan spirit of service, compassion, and love. Let us keep the affected families in our prayers and continue to work together for the healing and restoration of our community.

Support Typhoon Kristine Victims in Batangas

As many of you may know, Batangas has been declared a state of calamity due to the devastating impacts of Typhoon Kristine. Families have lost their homes, and the community is in dire need of support.

As part of our Franciscan Youth initiative, we are continuing our donation drive to provide relief for those affected. Every contribution, big or small, can make a significant difference in the lives of those suffering from this tragedy.

How You Can Help:

Monetary Donations: Every peso counts and goes directly to relief efforts.

Essential Goods: We are also accepting non-perishable food items, clothing, hygiene products, and other necessities.

Volunteer: Join us in our packing and distribution efforts.

We gladly announce to you FYM's much-awaited Easter Youth Celebration 2023:

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗹𝗼𝗱, 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗶, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻

Everyone is invited to experience this solemn and significant Paschal Triduum celebration happening this coming April 6 to 9, 2023 at the Capuchin Retreat Center, Lipa, Batangas. Please see poster for more info.

In line with this, everyone who would like to participate in the 4-day retreat is encouraged to attend the La Verna formation activities in their respective local fraternities. Other details of the formation will be announced through our local representatives.
